Now that the beginning of Navratri festival is now counting days, the preparations for Durga Puja have started in Bengal. The grand scheme for Durga Puja has been organized this year at the Sheikhpura Durga Ashram here.

In this year's planning, a Durga will be set up in a flower decorated pandal here. This year, Durga Mata will be seen in the blessing posture here. This idol is also being prepared by celebrity idol Shiv Shankar Pandit.

This year's mother Durga's statue will be installed in a flower temple decorated with flowers. The pandal will be about 35 feet high and 30 feet wide. Flowers are coming from all over Bengal to decorate this pandal.

The special attraction of Durga Puja of the Sheikhpura Durga Ashram is the cartoon. It is showcased with lights and sound. But this time the devotees will not see this glimmer. Cartoons were not created this year due to the problem of noise pollution. In Sheikhpura, Pooja is used for the first time in 77 years of worship.

This year's puja pandal is made with flowers in view of environmental protection. It will have all kinds of flowers. This flower will provide devotees with a pleasing look and aromatic aroma. The special thing is that the cloth will not be used in this pandal. A 10 foot tall statue will be installed in this pandal. 9 lakh has been spent in preparing this pandal.
