God of justice: Shanidevata.

According to a myth, the incarnation of Suryaputra Shanidev is believed to have taken place on the day of Vaishakh Vad Amas. This month is also celebrated in the country as Shani Jayanti. On this Vaishakhi Amas day, devotees ritually worship Shanidev with faith. These devotees have such faith in their hearts that any kind of natural calamities, calamities, pains and fears that befall the world will be removed by the grace of Shani Maharaj. On the occasion of Shanijayanti, by offering black cloth, sesame, urad, sesame oil to Shanidev, worshiping with devotion removes the calamity on all human beings and their welfare is ensured.

One of the great characteristics of Shanidev's nature is that he is considered to be the god of justice. The general public has the impression that Saturn is a cruel planet, its fate is very difficult. But according to astrologers, Saturn is not as evil as it is thought to be. But wherever his vision falls on the planet or place, it bears fruit according to the karma of the native. Saturn is a just planet. The person who does wrong deeds is punished by Saturn.

According to a story in the Brahmapuran, Shanidev was an ardent worshiper of Lord Krishna. In his youth Shanidev got married to the bride of Chitrarath. Shanidev's wife was Pativrata and Param Tejasvi. At one point Shanidev could not pay attention to his wife as he was immersed in devotion to Lord Krishna, so the wife became angry and the husband cursed Shani that whatever he saw would be destroyed. Husband Shani persuaded his wife to withdraw the curse, but it was not possible. After that, Saturn always kept its vision low so that its vision would not be affected. However, Saturn has suggested chanting the following mantras to make one's Panoti time less painful.

'Om pran pran prau sa shanye namah'

'Om Shanno Devirabhishtach Aapo Bhavantu Pitaye, Shan Yor Bhistra Vantun:

Om Shan Shanaishwarai Namah
