Importance of Nirjala Ekadashi (Bhim Agiyaras)!


The meaning of the Gita is that,

'In karma you have the right, not in fruit, you

Leaving the desire for fruit, join in doing karma,

Forsake all things, and run to the Lord,

Shreeji will save you from all sins, only you surrender.

There are twenty-four or eleven in a year. This Ekadashi fast is also a form of devotion. Ekadashi is a vow of renunciation. Such vows are necessary to control all the senses of the body. Sense restraint Such fasting is also necessary in terms of health in monsoon. It harmonizes with the Lord as well as health, which is why the glory of Chaturmas is greater. The Ekadashi fast is not meant to give a new taste to the tongue, it is a crime and harms health. Lord Vishnu is pleased with those who fast. Fasting with faith, fasting without faith and without understanding does not bear fruit.

' Vyasji laughed and said Bhimsenji. If you want to go to heaven after death, you have to do this fast. This day was Jeth Sudi Agiyaras. Bhima fasted on these eleven and did not even take the fruits. In these eleven he did not even drink water. And showed the world that without food or fruit one can be free. Therefore, the Puranas named this Agiyaras Bhima Agiyaras Nirjala Ekadashi and increased the fame of Bhima. It is believed that not all eleven hundred, but if this one Nirjala Ekadashi is done according to its rule, the fruit of all eleven is obtained. On this day the eater is born in a bad vagina. This is reported in detail in the Padmapuran.

Donation of food on this day is indestructible, donation of cow is considered the best. The story of Nirjala Ekadashi is also mentioned in the Mahabharata. Vrata (Agiyaras) is the best for Vaishnavism to take refuge and remember one's Shreeji, Yamunashtak, the best lesson.
