June, 181. A group of five British mountaineers were on their way back to the present-day Garhwal province in the state of Uttarakhand, climbing the Himalayan peak of Mount Kamet, which is 3,856 meters / 35, 4 feet high. The global number of peaks with an altitude of 2,500 meters or more is 104, with Mount Kamet being the 8th highest. The first attempt to climb this skyscraper was made in the year 19pp, which not only failed, but for the next fifty years Nagadhiraj Mount Kamet did not see any mountaineer bowing. It is not the Nagadhiraj Himalayas that bends so easily.

After many attempts to climb, finally on June 21, 191, Franco Smith, Eric Shimpton, R. L. Holdsworth, dr. English entrepreneurs Raymond Green and Bill Bernie set foot on the top of Kamet for the first time on behalf of all mankind. He wrote a glorious chapter in the history of mountaineering with his iron will as well as adventure. It may be recalled that the time was 181 when modern equipments for mountaineering like today have not been discovered yet.

After digging the Vijaydhvataj at the top of Kamet, the five descended and reached a mountain ghat named Bhundar Khal, which is 12.5 feet high. He planned to spend the night pitching a tent here, but a sudden change in the weather caused a torrential downpour. On the one hand, the work of physical corpses to cover the soft snow, on the other hand, the arrival of rain and the obstruction, as if there was still something missing, the ice coldth wind began to blow from the glaciers. The wet bodies of the adventurers began to be routinely tortured.

The rain did not stop, so to avoid the freezing cold of Bhubaneswar Khal, Twa Rae, who was doing his best, stepped down to descend into the plains. Every 1,000 feet of descent in the mountains increases the temperature by 1.5 degrees Celsius. According to this, the descent of half an hour and a half brought them to a slightly warmer atmosphere. The rain chased. Even the cold winds, which pierced his whole body like a thorn, barely escaped.

However, one calamity was averted, and the other came to the fore. It so happened that all the five adventurers forgot the direction while descending. The gloomy atmosphere of Chomer's dense white fog disoriented them. Yet he continued to walk. Luckily the atmosphere improved in a short time. The veil of smoke began to move slowly. There was a spectacular spectacle set on the vast stage of nature. In the valley that stretched as far as the eye could see, there was an empire of eye-catching greenery and colorful flowers that enlivened the mind. There was such a wide array of brown, purple, yellow, pink, red and white flowers that nature just looked at its invisible hand-knitted multi-color carpet!

This visual Frank Smith, Eric Shimpaton, R. L. Holdsworth, Dr. Raymond Green and Bill Bernie became speechless. Like the eyes, the feet also stopped where they were. He had dug the Himalayas many times before, but he had never seen such a marvel of nature. Entrepreneurs pitched tents and spent a full two days here to enjoy the open-eyed dream of creation. The team's botanist R. L. Holdsworth, meanwhile, identified a total of six types of flowering plants. In his diary, he noted, 'The valley is so full of flowers that the narrow ladder to set foot is nowhere to be seen. To get to Tahin from here, we have to trample on the vines. As a botanist I find that very difficult. Every step I take creates a sense of guilt in my heart. '

Stunned by the immense beauty of nature, the English adventurers bid farewell two days later. But before leaving, the flower-covered Bhundar went to the valley doing 'Oli Zoli Pipal Pan ...'. He gave this Gulistan a more meaningful name: Valley of Flowers!

The Valley of Flowers, unknown to mankind eight decades ago, is now on the international map as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and on India's tourism map. It is spread over a total area of 3.5 sq. Km. High saddle sentries like Gauri Parvat, Rataban, Kunt Khal, Saptishrung, Nilgiri Parvat etc. of Himalayas are standing on all four sides with huge fortifications. The terrain in the middle of this enclosure is called a valley, but it is situated at a level of 11,500 feet above the ground.

During the monsoon season from mid-July to mid-August, when spring blooms here, about 4 types of flowering plants can be seen floating in dim wires. Flowers like Vajradanti, Haldirful, Sonali, Yogeshwar, Vatsavanabh, Kansura, Kailashi, Gulnar, Nimula, Brahmakamal, Neel Postag, Kingor, Buntil, Kakoli, Pisces, Fish, Laddu etc. It is attractive to hold the viewer for hours. After a gust of rain, the raindrops on the petals of the flowers and on the leaves of the plants start shining like Abhala! The music of the water flowing in the springs and ditches sounds like honey pouring honey in the ears.

Look at the high hills around the vast valley, the greenery that covers them and the milky white waterfalls in between. You can't help but feel like you've come to the set of the movie 'Jurassic Park'. The spectacular effects of the clouds hovering around the mountains and the disappearing fog make the scene even more dramatic. In this supernatural world, just sit quietly for hours and enjoy the immense green of nature! Sometimes it is fun to ride a paraglider and see the colorful carpet of the Valley of Flowers!

The Valley of Flowers has a wide variety of medicinal plants, such as flowers. According to a calculation, 4 types of medicinal plants grow here. For example, antidote is prepared from the flowers of a plant called Mitha Tilia. The venom of venomous snakes and scorpions cuts off the extract of the sweet herb. Herbs made from the leaves and roots of Vajradanti are effective in treating stomach ailments, while a plant called Khair is effective in treating bladder diseases.

According to popular legend, the mountain of Bajrangbali Sanjeev's herb that was used to treat the faint Lakshmakanji belonged to the Valley of Flowers. Whatever the fact, seeing 3 medicinal plants in the Valley of Flowers, it is considered to be an open air medical store of nature.

Apart from this, the birch trees which were used for writing purposes in ancient times are also true, the bark of which has been peeled off and its inner surface can be written with a pen. The cobra lily grows at an altitude of more than 5,000 feet above sea level. Twelve to fifteen inches long, a polo cylindrical, well-formed leaf with Rajnag's fangs on it, and a leaf-shaped corbel lily protruding like a Rajnag's tongue protruding from the gap between the cylindrical and the leaf.

The trek to Govind Valley, a small village on the banks of the Alaknanda River, begins with a trek to the Valley of Flowers, which is full of natural wonders. From here it takes about five-six hours to reach Ghangaria via the bridge by climbing the mountain road. Although the journey can be done by riding in a helicopter or sitting on a mule, if the body is accompanied, the real fun is hard climbing. Physically the task may seem daunting, but a booster dose of nice fun scenes seen every once in a while transmits supernatural powers to the body.

The next day after a one-day trek to the Valley of Flowers from Ghangaria, one can visit the holy pilgrimage site of Sikhs, Hemkund Sahib Gurdwara. In addition to religious beliefs, there is one more aspect of natural beauty that can be enjoyed. Since the Gurudwara is located at an altitude of 15,600 feet above sea level, there is an opportunity to enjoy snow (and snowfall if you are lucky).

On July 1, 2021, the Government of Uttarakhand opened the Valley of Flowers to tourists. Figuratively speaking, that gate belongs to heaven
