Be absorbed in devotion

- First of all, there should be a complete believer in the mind that I am standing in front of this idol. It is not just a stone or metal statue or a glass image. But he is truly God. Don't let shadowy atheism come to mind even under any circumstances.

Does this country run without religion or without God? In the month of Shravan, special lessons-pujan or darshan are performed. The glory of religion is greatly enhanced. However, the darshan and bhajan of God have been considered beneficial for many months. And the yoga of doing this darshan is available to the seekers in many places in many ways. God is seen in large and spacious temples or in small deras along the way, as well as in eight types of statues made of stone, wood and metal.

Apart from that, every person also performs pooja in his own house and also sees God in it. Somewhere in India, even the objects used by their deities are preserved by the devotees there or in the temples. It also has the custom of bringing the value of God and seeing Him with respect.

Moreover, even a true saint or guru is considered equal to God. Therefore, even in it, the devotees bring the value of God and see Him. Besides, if a small temple is built in their house or Swadhyay or Satsang meetings are held somewhere, and all the members of the house get together before going to bed at night in their own house, they also get the satisfaction of seeing God.

But it is very important that this philosophy is always new. Sometimes standing in front of God for half an hour or even turning the garland, but when you go home and sit down to remember that idol of God, you don't remember anything about it. So now the way of doing darshan needs to be slightly improved.

In the villages, if a sadhu saint was walking on the road, and a householder was riding a bicycle or a scooter, he would get down from the bicycle or scooter and proceed to greet the sadhu saint or Parishravaka or Mandleshwar. Even if the citizens do not do that today, when it comes to darshan in temples or elsewhere, darshan should be done with concentrated eyes.

Even when we are worshiping at home there is a TV next door. While walking, one glance at God and one glance at TV is light. Or if the newspaper has fallen next to the puja, then the headlines will be read while turning the garland. Lord Swaminarayan calls such a person with a torn vision. Doing such darshan does not get its full fruit and darshan is not always new.

There are gods in everyone's distance, but when does it manifest? So 'Tap: Prabhavat Devprasadatch' (Shwetashwetar Upanishad 2-21) With the influence of tap and by the grace of God, a little tap should also be mixed with the worship of God. We can call this tapa samyam. Just as Drona Guru took the Kaurava and Pandavoniban Vidya examinations. Then everyone was asked in turn, 'What do you see in front of you?' Someone said tree, someone said bird, someone said leaves, twigs, bird, flower, fruit everything is visible. But when I asked Arjun, he said that everything is visible, now it is closed, now only the bird's eye is visible. Thus, by cultivating concentration with restraint, he achieved the goal.

A monk named Ghanshyamdas from Junagadh was turning the garland with his eyes closed. There Gunatita Nand Swami caught his mind and asked, do you turn the garland or do you turn the hand on the head of the buffalo with white talaka in Gadha? Thus his body was in worship, but the mind? Even if we do such worship or darshan for years, there will be no peace. There is a saying that if I have, I will go to Malwa. In the same way, if the body, mind and soul are absorbed in devotion to God, then devotion to God is fruitful. It is not just a sight to behold. But when the mind merges with the eye, true vision takes place.

We see a lot on the train from Churchgate to Borivali, but we don't remember anything. Because when we see all that, our mind is not mixed in it. So he doesn't remember anything. The same is true in the spiritual path. Darshan is as true as the mind is fixed while doing darshan. Nothing will work if you chew family conflicts, business talk, office politics or other ideas than devotion to God. Even such devotion is not devotion. Just as much as there is a daily order.

In Islam, Hazrat Goz became a fakir. He used to pray once. He did not even know that a procession of drums had passed by. In Bhagwat we hear the story of Shamik Rishi. While they were meditating, a king named Parikshit asked them for water. But the sage was absorbed in the meditation of God. So he didn't hear it. Even though the examinee wrapped the dead snake around the sage's throat, the sage Shamik did not know about it. It is from this occasion that one realizes how much concentration they must be meditating on. Therefore, the first step to be absorbed in God is the stability of the mind and that stability does not come without the concentration of Darshan.

If we do darshan without concentration, it is called darshan, but what is the big loss in it? So say that God is not pleased with such a vision. Like if a guest comes to our house and stands in front of us, but we don't pay attention to him and talk to the other, then the guest likes it? So let's go to the temple of God and stand in front of the idol then look at the drums of Ghadik Aarti. Ghadik should look in front of the web, Ghadik should look at the plate of offerings, Ghadik should look at the side, then where does the vision of God take place?

How can the rudimentary way of such a vision come into us? First of all, there should be a complete believer in the mind that I am standing in front of this idol. It is not just a stone or metal statue or a glass image. But he is truly God. Don't let shadowy atheism come to mind even under any circumstances.

In the temple at Tankara village near Morbi, the young Moolshankar saw a rat moving on the Shivling and thought that if Shiva could not protect himself from a creature like a rat, what would he do to protect another? Then he became Dayanand Saraswati and continued to forbid idol-worship till the end. Taking this into consideration, Vinoba Bhave said, "Why didn't Dayanand think that Lord Shiva would show mercy to even a trivial creature like a rat and let him into his lap? How merciful would God be?"

Secondly, in order to learn the rudimentary way of such a vision, we have to explain the value of God, how rare is this vision of God? If you are sitting in a bus or train with a salary of Rs 10,000 in your pocket, do you have to save it? Slightly there instinct remains. The mind clings to the pile of notes in the pocket. If the glory of God is understood, then instinct will remain in it instinctively.

The third remedy is love for God. Nowadays people are addicted to cricket or cinema. So once he hears the song or the score, how does it get stuck in his mind? If you are addicted to food and drink, do you ever fall asleep while eating? When such love is in God, it is a pleasure to see it lightly. The fourth remedy is that we should have practice for it. If we keep on studying, there will be a definite improvement in this field, but if we don't think about it, it will never improve.

The fifth remedy is to pray to God for this every day. This is an infallible weapon. It requires success in every task. Just tell God that you have freed me from delusion and it is time to worship you. One day God will hear your prayers.
