The science of heat sinks that keep computers cool


It resists electricity when electricity passes through the tuna wire. And so it gets hot. Electric appliances like TVs, fridges, computers and even mobile phones get hot when they are on. Computers also run on electricity. Although it is advisable to use the computer's processor in a fast room, there are small fans to remove heat from the computer's CPU. There is a device called heat sink on the processor.

The processor cannot run without heat sink being important. A heat sink is a simple multi-layered aluminum tool. It works like a car radiator. Aluminum heats up quickly and absorbs heat from it when it comes close to another hot substance.

Aluminum heats up quickly and cools down quickly if the wind blows. Heat sinks placed close to the processor absorb constant heat from the processor. And disposes with the help of a fan. Heat sinks have several thin layers of aluminum. It is square or round in shape. Air can flow through the middle of the layer. It loses as much heat as it gains. This prevents the processor from overheating.
