(Part-1)
That year of Vikram Samvat 119, the month of Vaishakh, the date of Tritiya: that month, that date was becoming wonderful. A wonderful event was taking place between the bursting human-mehraman.
Look at the waves of the sea of people bouncing there, the sky was trembling. In the pavilion of religion, peace prevailed as if the human community believed in peace and discipline. A silver throne was erected in the center. Above it was a four-faced idol of Lord Jineshwar. Adults and wise monks were sitting on a huge bench in front of him. In front of the throne stood a thin, bright and young sage. He was being offered the post of Principal.
The young sage was Shri Hemchandra. At the age of twenty-one years, the light of restraint and purity shone in the eyes of the sage. When Namravad became engrossed in the action, a cry was heard from the heart of a woman sitting in the women's council in that huge crowd: The great monk whom this census has risen to congratulate is my son! An unbroken feeling of gratitude was shining in a shout!
'Oh! What a wonderful occasion! '
The woman's mind was worried and she was confused: she is present on such a unique occasion! His son became so great at such a young age! How many more days have passed when Gurusharan dedicated himself to his son? Only twelve years! He felt the scent of homeland rising from the air. It went back twenty-one years.
Dhandhuka no. That night before the dawn of sometime in 115 A.D. was supernatural. In the last watch of the night he had a Mars dream: 'He got a Chintamaniratna and gave it to Guruvar Shri Devchandrasuri himself!' When he told this to Devendrasuri, who was waiting in Dhandhuka, he prophesied:
'Pahini, you will receive a Putra Ratna and you will offer that Ratna in the service of Jinshasan.'
No. 115 Karthiki Purnima, he received a Putraratna. He is the only son of father Chachdev and mother Pahini. Wahal's harp kept playing and time passed. The child was filled with the form of Changdev and was like an incarnation of wisdom. There were no Pahini or Chachdevs watching it. No. The year 1140 has arrived. Guruvar Shri Devchandrasuri again started Dhandhuka.
Pahini took Changdev and reached Vandanartha at Upashraya.
Her decent rites were constantly irrigating her son. Gurudev was not sitting on the bench in the upashraya. Pahini ran to find him, then Changdev released his finger and ran and sat on Guruvar's plate, from the ancestor of a born monk! Seeing this, Pahini shone stunned:
'Get up, son, don't sit there, Gurujan's hope is fulfilled.'
At that moment, Devchandrasuri was standing behind him. He saw Changdev sitting on the bench and the bell of memory started ringing in his mind: the dream of Pahinidevi! Devchandrasuri said:
Pahini, let Changdev sit there. See how beautiful it is, isn't it? '
When Pahinidevi recognized the unfathomable sign in the promises of Devchandrasuri, she was making love in her distance. She looked at her son: Beloved son! Devachandrasuri's thunderous voice was heard on his eardrum:
'Pahini! Remember your dream - you got a Chintamani Ratna and you offered it to me? This son is the same Chintamaniratna. This is the blessed time to offer it to me! Won't you surrender to me? '
Pahini looked at Guruvar.
Devchandrasuri used to say:
'Pahini! This is your son, don't just call him your son, make him Saraswati's son, make him Dharmaputra: let him be great. The one who leads the son on the path of greatness is the true Janeta, the great Janeta.
Pahini, aren't you such a mother?
Changdev was standing near Pahini. Pahini looked at him, Vatsalya was gushing in the distance, and dripping through his eyes. For a moment he stretched, holding Chachdev's face. But he took his son in his arms and put him in the shelter of Devchandrasuri with a beating of an unprecedented spirit emanating from his heart:
'Gurudev, make him great.'
There were tears in Pahini's eyes.
