Google stops data sharing of telecom companies, telecom companies can no longer improve their network

Ahmedabad. August 20, 2019

The telecom sector in India is going through a bad time. Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industry has launched water on behalf of other telecom companies in the country launching Jio.

However, a new move from Google could add to the difficulty of the telecom operator. Google's move could help companies fix problems related to their connectivity globally and expand their coverage globally.

In India, Indian Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone India, along with other telecom companies, may find it difficult to find a weekly spot on their network with Google's move. The question people have now is why did Google take such a step?

Google has shut down its mobile network Insight service, according to a Reuters report. Google launched this service in March 2017. The service provided data to telecom companies around the world. It was reported where the company's network was poor. Google has quietly shut down this service.

The reason behind Google's move could be that the company can get in trouble by sharing user generated data from the phones of Android users. Network coverage data was collected mostly from the Android phone's lacrosse and signal strength.

According to a Reuters report, the data was collected directly, meaning that it did not contain a single person's phone information. It contained information or data from rival companies linked to Network Providers' own service.

The Google mobile network provided Insight's service for free and since most of the data was available to Android users, telecom companies were helping to boost their service and connectivity. Turning off this service makes it clear that Google is considering the privacy of its users.

Google spokeswoman Victoria has confirmed that Google has discontinued the service. The notice has also been sent to the telecom companies. We are working on a program in which a mobile partner can improve their network. The data was prepared based on the performance metrics. We're constantly working to improve the network performance of our services for apps and users.
