According to the latest data released by TRAI, the number of users of Airtel, Vodafone and Idea has dropped in June. These numbers have collectively declined by 41.75 lakhs. However, Reliance Jio has received 82.6 lakh new users this month.
With 38.34 million users, Vodafone, Idea has now become the second largest telecommunications company in the country. With 33.12 million users, Jio is second with 32.03 crore users and Airtel is third. Vodafone, Idea has lost 41.45 lakh users in the meantime. Airtel lost 29,883 customers.
According to TRI data, the number of users using Jio in June was 82.68 lakh. This figure was 81.80 lakh in May. In addition to the financial and other problems, the number of BSNL users increased in June. In June, the company's subscriber base grew by 2.66 lakh.
