There were more than 40 virus apps on the Play Store, downloaded by 8 million users

Which has been around for a long time and is linked to the adware campaign. According to the report, more than 8 million users downloaded these apps.

According to experts, the virus has been reported to the Google Play Store's security team and asked to be removed from the platform. However, some of those apps are still active on the Playstore. These apps were leaking user information. Virus apps collect data from users' devices. These apps were operated with data command and control so that users could see the ad. Even if these apps are deleted, users still see the ad.

Virus apps appear in users' phones without a shortcut to the app. Users were annoying with advertising and deleting apps shortcuts. These apps were active in the background of the device and users were not even aware of it. Millions of apps have been deleted from the Play Store. The company deleted apps like Feel Camera HD, Filter Photo Frame, Lens Flares, Magic Effect and QR Code Scanner from the Play Store in early October.
