Worldwide 80 million people suffer from starvation, malnutrition among children: UNICEF

The worldwide malnutrition crisis is on the rise. A UN report has revealed a serious and worrying concern about the prevalence of malnutrition in children. According to the report, one third of the 70 million children under the age of five in the world are malnourished. With it some children suffer from obesity.

The report shows concern that children in such a situation are at risk of becoming infected with lifelong illnesses. In a report titled State of the Worlds Children's report, UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore said that people were losing healthy diet and water.

It is worth mentioning that a report was first released in the year 1999 in this regard. Subsequently, another report has been submitted at long distance. The report says that half of children around the world do not even get the required vitamins and minerals. According to the report, for the last three decades, another form of malnutrition has been encountered in children. Which is obesity and it is also increasing rapidly.

The report also noted that between 1990 and 2015, the number of children in poorer countries was 40%. However, 14 million 90 million children aged four and under appear to be below their age. What is most surprising in the report is that over 80 million people worldwide suffer from starvation. Two Arabs cannot eat nutritious food. As a result, diseases like obesity, heart disease and diabetes are increasing.
