Why is Diwali still 15 days in these 200 villages?

The Diwali festival is also celebrated after Diwali but there are some areas where the Diwali festival is 15 days in advance. Diwali festival is celebrated one month after Karatak month in some tribal villages of Jonsar and Babar region of Himachal Pradesh. The locals call it Ghar Diwali.

Strangely, when the whole country celebrates Diwali festival, there are no festivals in the area.

Most people in the area believe that when Ram returned from Lanka, the Ayodhyaites celebrated Diwali for the first time by lighting their lamps. The people here learned that Ram Ravan had come to Ayodhya after killing and completing fourteen years of exile. So Diwali is celebrated a month later.

Old times are celebrated in more than 200 villages in the area, even though times and circumstances change after decades.

However, instead of throwing firecrackers in this particular type of Diwali, people dance by dancing with the dhola nagara in its flickering light. Apart from Jonsar, more than 3 villages in Kandoi, Bodur and Kandoi illusions are also interested in celebrating the old Diwali. Extraterrestrial people explain the villages in the area to celebrate New Diwali.

Even though traditions do not change, it is difficult for people outside the job and business. Because the people of the job and the business can not come home in real Diwali time. When the people of this area celebrate Diwali, the employers do not even get leave. Hence, in some villages including Hanol, Raigi, Madrath, Hadesu, Diwali is celebrated according to the calendar of Aso Sud Amasi.

Even today, the big class celebrates the Diwali of the month of Kartik.
