In the same way, the funeral of a human being is the action of his death. The funeral is a time of renunciation of the soul.

But after leaving the body, the actions taken with the human body are done systematically and systematically. When he is given a final farewell, he merges into the panchayat. The Scriptures provide some rules for the funeral. It is believed that these rules must be followed at the funeral. It is only by the funeral ritual of obeying rules that a person becomes free from life and becomes a foreigner.

According to the eagle Purana, the death of a human is fixed and can happen at any time. But his funeral or final departure can only take place during the day. That is, the funeral should be performed from sunrise to sunset. Even after sunset, if there is death at night, one should wait for the funeral.

The Garuda Purana also describes the inauspicious effects of performing the funeral at night. According to which if a dead person's funeral is performed after sunset, he is not exempt. He has to face many problems in Parlok. In addition it may be defective in the person's second life. For this reason cremation after sunset is not considered appropriate.

According to the Scriptures, the gates of heaven are closed after dusk. As the day is completed, the gates of hell are opened. Therefore, if the funeral is performed during the sunrise, the soul of the person receives heaven. At the funeral of the night one has to go to hell.

The Scriptures also say that if a person dies after sunset, his body should not be left alone. Because the soul of a dead person leaves the body and then revolves around his loved ones. If people do not have the body, then the soul does not live there and an evil spirit can enter the dead body of the dead person. Religion is also said to have a corpse near the basil plant.
