Women are often confused about pregnancy and menstruation. Women have a misconception that having sex during menstruation does not prevent pregnancy. But this is a fallacy. Having sex during menstruation can also keep the fetus alive. Simply put, unprotected sex at the time of menstruation increases the likelihood of becoming pregnant.

The process of conception

When a male sperm meets with a woman's eggs, fertilization occurs. Eggs come out of a woman's ovary every month. These eggs survive in the body for 12 to 24 hours. But the male sperm lives 3 to 5 days. Usually a woman's menstrual cycle is 28 days. Eggs are released on the day in 12,13,14. In the meantime if the sperm eggs are found by having sex then the fetus remains.

Pregnancy during menstruation

Women also have bleeding during ovulation. Sometimes menstruating menstrual bleeding is understood by women. Having sex that assumes that menstruation lasts and that there is no fetus increases the likelihood of becoming pregnant. The male sperm lives in the body of the woman for 3 days. Therefore, during the course of menstruation, sexual intercourse can lead to the fetus.
