Ahmedabad. 19 February 2020, Wednesday

By 2023, the number of Internet users in India will reach 90.7 million. Which would be 64 percent of its population. Currently there are 50 million people in the country using the Internet.

Data is very cheap in India and is the largest smartphone market. When the Internet is cheap and budget budgets are being launched in a timely fashion, it is obvious that there will be many Internet users.

In 2018, the number of Internet users in India was 76.3 crore which will cross 90 crore by 2023. This is claimed by Cisco in the Cisco Annual Internet Report 2018-2023. Internet users account for 38% of mobile and 12% of TV users.

2.1 billion devices in India will be connected to the internet by 2023. With this, India will have 6.72 crore 5G users by 2023. In other words, one in 20 users will be 5G. In addition, the total mobile of 4G connections will be 53.1%.

It should be noted that just days ago social media management firm VR Social and Hootsuite released statistics on internet and mobile uses around the world. The report, titled Digital 2020, describes how people are spending their time in the digital world, mobile and social media. The figures are up to January 2020. 92% of the world's population is using the Internet from mobile.
