The story of Ramazan
According to legend, there is a story behind the birth of Lord Sriram and his three brothers. King Dasaratha did not have a son, so he sacrificed his son. The kheer which he produced as a prasad of this sacrifice was given to all the three queens as prasad. The queens ate and a few days later King Dasharatha received the good news. The three queens then gave birth to four princes. In which Kaushaya gave birth to Shriram, Kaikeyi Bharat and Sumitra to Laxman and Shatrughan. Since then, this date is celebrated as Ramanavami.
