Glory of Shri Lakshmi Pujan in Diwali festival

The tradition of worshiping Goddess Lakshmidevi on the day of Diwali supper continues in the country to provide happiness, prosperity and health in the New Year. Just as the seeds sown in the earth at one time provide food to all in the form of grains, so the ritualistic worship of Goddess Lakshmi-archana provides happiness and wealth to all.

Shri Lakshmi Pujan rituals require special attention. Worship is started by first remembering Shri Ganeshji, Lakshmiji and Saraswatiji by seeing auspicious moments in Asovad month. Nothing is complete without the initial worship of Sriganeshaji. He is first called for by establishing Ganesha. Lakshmiji's grace-blessing is very necessary for wealth. So at the same time mother Lakshmiji is also installed.

So Riddhi-siddhi in human life does not exist without true knowledge. So with this, the three goddesses are worshiped in a sixfold manner by establishing Mother Saraswatiji. Apart from this, there is knowledge of worshiping gold-silver coins-idols-ornaments etc. in the house, when mantras are uttered that O Goddesses. May your grace always be upon us. Merchants also worship books at their place of work.

On the eve of Diwali, Deepak Puja is also celebrated in families. For this, thirteen lamps are lit in two plates and decorated. After that, all the lamps are ritually worshiped with Abil-Gulal-Kanku-Dhoop by Shodsopchara and this lamp is used to light the door-corner of the house.

Thus, if Shri Lakshmi Mata is worshiped with devotion in Diwali, the Dipotsav that illuminates the night of Amas will illuminate everyone's life.
