This statement made by Devarshi Naradaji himself shows the relationship of Naradaji with God. According to Hindu scriptures, Manas is one of the sons of Brahma. In the tenth chapter of Vibhuti Yoga, the tenth chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna Himself has said- 'Devarshinamch Narad: That is, I am Narad in two years.' It is said in Shrimad Bhagavat Mahapuran that God took the third incarnation in the form of Devarshi Narad in the universe and preached Satvatatantra (Narad-Pancharatra) in which the path of liberation from Bhavbandhan is shown through Satkarmas.
The Vayupurana describes the position and virtues of Devarshi Narada. The sages who have gained prestige in the heavens are known as Devarshi. Thus Naradaji is called Devarshi and Muniraj. For he was the minister of the gods. He is the best example of Trikalagyani, Satyabhashi, Atmabhimukha, Mantravetta, Best Advisor, Guide, Minister of Music Acharya, Sankirtan Bhakti. The fifth chapter of the Mahabharata Sabhaparva deals with Naradaji - Devarshi Narad Veda and Upanishads Marmagya, worship of gods, expert in history-mythology, knower of preconceived notions, philosophy of justice and religion, education, grammar, Ayurveda, Ayurveda. He is the one who dispels the doubts of great scholars like Jupiter, is able to know the news of all the people through yoga power, is the god-demon who preaches asceticism and devotion to all, is omniscient, is the benefactor of all and moves everywhere.
What is available at present is 4000 verses in Naradpuran. Originally this scripture is of 2000 verses.
The loss of a few pages of a scripture written in an ancient manuscript does not result in the acquisition of 5,000 verses. In the Naradpuran, about 40 verses are on astrology. It gives a comprehensive explanation of the three aspects of astrology, Hora and Samhita.
Shri Naradaji is a perpetual Parivrajaka. That is his job. Singing the praises of God with the melodious melody of his divine harp. Devarshi Narad himself says in the thirty-third verse of the sixth chapter of the first Skandha of Shrimad Bhagavat Mahapuran - Veena Swar Brahma Vibhushitam in Devdattami. Murchchhayitva Harikatha Gaimanashcharamyaham. Playing this veena with the sound given by God - Brahma Yukta and singing the story of Lord Sri Hari, I travel everywhere. Prahladji did not forget the sermon by the grace of Devarshi. It was because of that knowledge that such a unique Bhagavad Shraddha was manifested in Prahladji. In the same way when Dhruvji was going to leave home and go for penance in the forest after being hurt by the bitter promises of his stepmother, he met Naradaji on the way and gave him a beautiful sermon and persuaded him to go back home but Dhruvji told him that his decision was firm. The twelve-letter mantra initiation showed the method of worship.
When Maharshi Veda Vyasaji did not attain the happiness and contentment of the conscience even after the division of the Vedas and the creation of the Mahabharata, he asked Naradaji for its cause and remedy. Vyasji said to Naradaji at that time- 'Astyev me sarvamind tvayoktan tathapi natma paritushyane me. I have everything you said but my soul is not satisfied. At that time Naradaji taught him the Bhagavata element and revealed the embodiment of Lord Sri Hari and asked him to sing of his pure success. It was only after that that Maharshi Vedavyasji, realizing Lord Srihari, composed the Srimad Bhagavat Mahapuran.
Lord Krishna once said to King Ugrasen praising the virtues of Naradaji. ' Ahun hi sarvada staumi nardan devdarshanam. Mahendragaditenaiv Stotren Shrun Tannrup. I always praise Naradaji, endowed with divine vision, from a source made by Devraj Indra. Listen to it now. ' This hymn of nineteen verses is written in Skandapuran. At the end of the hymn, Lord Krishna says- I also worship him as the non-attachment, unique devotee Devarshi Narad worships me.
