- Mist became Moti-Kumarapala Desai
After years of enlightenment, the disciple bid farewell to the Guru. After leaving the ashram, the Guru gave a few useful teachings to the disciple which are useful in practical life. The disciple then bowed down and said to the Guru, "You have given me the knowledge of the scriptures for so many years and made me a scholar in it. My life has been made meaningful by giving incomparable enlightenment. Now, as Gurudakshina, I request you to accept something from me. "
Guru smiled and said, "Well! You have experienced the meaning of life through knowledge, now give me the totally useless thing of life in Gurudakshina. My dear disciple! ”
The disciple was amazed. There is no shortage of worthless things in this world. It does not require running at all.
He reached out to take the clay from the courtyard of the ashram and said, "Hey, do you think I'm useless? Got so much knowledge, yet you don't understand my greatness. "
"What else do you use?" Said the disciple.
'' Use me, hey, just think. All the splendor of this earth is manifested from my womb. Do you really understand what a barren land without soil is like? And you think I'm useless? ”
The disciple realized his mistake. It went ahead. Raising his hand towards a stone lying on the road, the stone said, "Am I not in palaces and palaces, in dams and ditches and in the mountains? Do you consider me useless? Imagine for a second you were transposed into the karmic driven world of Earl. There would be no roads or houses to live in. "
The disciple quickly withdrew his hand and stood by the rubbish heap. Chopas spread a terrible stench. The disciple thought that what is the use of this waste? He pressed his hand to his nose and went to get some 'useless rubbish', but then the rubbish said, '' Hey, just think. Who will give a better fertilizer than me? It is because of this compost that the world gets food. Without me, the world would starve to death and it would not be possible to see the nature and the creation of flowers that give pleasure to the eyes and give life to human beings.
The disciple thought the garbage was true. It turned out that even clay, stone and waste are extremely valuable, so what could be in vain.
He went to the Guru. He told his experience and said, "I have to give you something in vain in Gurudakshina. I hold my ego at your feet. "
