The influence of speech.

The Creator has given man the gift of a seven-tone voice. While other animals are gifted in only one tone. Speech is the expression of thoughts in the mind. There is sweetness and melody in the speech of one who has sattvic value in his mind. When there is rajas bhav in the mind, his speech has harshness and sometimes egoistic speech. When there is an irritating feeling, his speech is rude and not worth listening to. The person who behaves the same way speaks the same way. His voice is bright and energetic.

There are some people in the society who say that 'Ram in the mouth is a knife in the armpit'. Such people are religious in their outward speech, but when their selfishness is fulfilled, they also harm their opponents. Kali Yuga is called Kali Yuga. Just as an arrow cannot be turned once it is released from a bow, words cannot be retrieved once spoken. That is why it is said in the scriptures that one should think before speaking and speak with wisdom and understanding. So that sometimes it is not the turn of repentance. Do not associate with a person who speaks harsh words, sarcasm, mockery, vain speech, vulgar speech and do not give importance to them and do not encourage them. Otherwise one has to indirectly become a partner in sin.

Speech should always be spoken with clear language and clean pronunciation. In the scriptures the words are likened to Brahman. Mantras can be recited through speech. Mantra chanting can be done in a systematic way, with ascents and descents, rhythmically and correctly.
