Bodh Katha: Me and you ....

A lover knocked on the door of a sweetheart's house. A voice came from inside: 'Who is it?' The lover said: 'I am'. The answer came from within: 'This house cannot handle' me 'and' you '.' And the closed door remained closed.

The lover went to the forest and performed penance and devoted himself to devotion. Years later he knocked on the door again. There the question was asked from inside: 'Who is outside?' The answer came from outside: 'You are the only one' and the door opened.

The bottom line is that where the 'I' is, the door is closed. The door is always open where 'you' are. 'I' is the essence of ignorance and 'you' is the essence of spiritual life.
