Nagarjuna built a Jinmandir on Giriraj in which many Jinbimbos were set up by Acharya Padaliptasuriji. He also installed a statue of Acharya. Acharyasri Padaliptasuri composed a Prakrit epic called "Tarangavati" which has a prominent place in the world fiction.
The town is usually named after a king or maharaja. Somewhere it is given on the basis of some spirit, but Palitana Nagar is special in the sense that it is named after an Acharya Maharaj. He was a great teacher. Acharyasri Padaliptasuriji is a rare confluence of works created by the fire of sadhana, miracles and the fire of imagination.
At the age of only eight, Vidyadhar took initiation from Acharya Naghasti of Gachchh and became Muni Nagendra. Once Muni Nagendra went to visit Gochri. After returning to Upashraya, he recited a verse which had meaning. "A newly married young woman with copper-blooded eyes, a row of puppet-like teeth, poured this kanji water from an earthen vessel."
Guru Maharaj, hearing such an erotic description, became angry at the disciple and said, "Nalinau.shi" meaning "You are ignited by ragarrupi fire." . '' This meant donating to me a pedagogy that could take me to heaven, so that I could be called a pedophile.
Seeing Muni Nagendra's shrewd intellect, Acharya blessed him with the title "Padalipto Bhava". With this power, he used to take food and water only after visiting Shatrunjaya, Girnar, Ashtapada, Sametshikhar and Mathura. He obtained four other Siddha-Vidyas namely Jivajivotpati Prabhrut, Vidyaprabhrut, Siddha Prabhrut and Nimitta Prabhrut.
Once a Siddha yogi by the name of Nagarjuna sent a character of Kotived Rasa, who made stone or iron into gold, with one of his disciples. Acharya Padaliptasuri said that for a monk, both gold and pebbles are the same. I don't need this. This made Nagarjuna angry, but Padaliptacharya made a golden stone with touch and urine. As a result, Nagarjuna's pride was swallowed up and he started living with her. From Padaliptacharya, he got the knowledge of Akashgami. When Nagarjuna requested the principal to give me some work service, Padaliptacharya said, "You have practiced self-welfare by practicing Jainism for the rest of your life."
Nagarjuna followed Jainism properly throughout his life. He established a town called Padliptapur at the foothills of Shri Shatrunjaya Mahatirtha. Today it is known as Palitana. This is a rare instance of a town being named after a Jain Acharya.

Acharya Shri Padaliptasuri was a connoisseur of wonderful mantravidya. He had an extraordinary ability to fly in the sky with herbs on his feet. He was a great poet. His birthplace was Ayodhya. Father's name was Fulla Shrestha and mother's name was Pratima. The idol gave birth to a son by worshiping many gods and goddesses. Hence his name Nagendra.
The mother had handed over the child to Acharya Naghasti of Vidyadhargachchh in her childhood and at the request of the principal, the mother followed it till the age of 7 years. Nagendra was initiated at the age of 7, Balamuni lived with Gurubhai Sangamsinhsuri of Naghastisuri and studied with Mandanamani. Pleased with Balamuni's present reply, Guru declared his name as Padalipta and seeing his brilliant intellect, at the age of ten he became Acharya and established himself and sent him to Mathura.
Acharya Padaliptasuri cured the headache of the 'Murund' king of Pataliputra by turning his index finger on the pinch and pleased him with his wonderful genius and poetry. King Murund tested Suri's erudition and sharp intellect many times.
The king once sent a ball of finely woven thread to Suriji and asked him to find the end. Suriji dipped the ball attached to the wax in hot water. The wax melted in a few minutes. The end fell apart. The king was happy to see this. The king straightened a tree and sent it to Suriji to find its root. Suriji put the same and round stick in the water from both the sides. Its core began to sink because it was heavy. Suriji said this side is original.
Which way is the lid on by sending a similar box all around? When he told Suriji to find it, he saw the same shape all around the box and dipped it in hot water so the lid came off and the lid opened. Tejaswi Suriji once made a knitted ball of rope and sent it to the Rajya Sabha, asking him to show the end of it. Despite many attempts by the Pandits of the Rajya Sabha, they failed. Surivar found the end in an instant. The king and the royal court were all happy. King Krishnaraja of Mankhetpur was a great devotee of Suriji. Suriji, who was opposed to the king, made him a Jain. King Bhimdev of Omkarpur in Latdesh was also a devotee of Suriji.
According to the instructions of King Satvahana, the essence of the scriptures of the ancient sages was made in just one step and presented by four sages in the Rajsabha of Pratishthanpur. (1) Eat food after digestion, (2) Have pity on animals, (3) Do not trust anyone, (3) Be gentle with women. The king was pleased and gave a big prize to the Pandits and asked Bhogavati Varangana to praise these poets. Bhogwati replied, I am Mahakavi Akashgami and Mahavidyasiddha this. Praises none other than Padaliptasuri. The jealous minister said he would be called Mahaguni only if he died alive. Suriji showed a fraudulent death.
Acharyasri has created books like Nirvana Kalika, Prashnaprakash, Kalagyan Jyotish Karandak's Tika, Taranglola Katha and Virastuti etc. Taranglola Katha and Veerastuti etc. Taranglola is not available today, but Acharya Virbhadra's disciple Nemichandra has formed a 'Tarangavati Sar' based on it which is available today.
This Padaliptasuri attained Kaladharma by fasting for thirty two days at Shri Shatrunjaya Tirth. In this way, Shri Padaliptasuriji, who had excellent literature, influential prowess and astonishing achievements, successfully served Jinshasan.
