The glory of Jupiter is infinite, even a little of it provides sanity to the adjacent being. Jupiter has many categories. In the first category comes the one who first introduces us to the world. Resolves our ordinary curiosities, so in the scriptures, only parents are called the first Guru. The second category includes the Guru who provides guidance and assistance in our material advancement. That is why the teacher is also called Guru. In the final category comes Sadguru who provides guidance and assistance in spiritual upliftment. Sadguru is the knower of the past and the future and paves the way for the upliftment of the soul. Jupiter is the only sailor who can cross the Jivatma from this world ocean. That is why Saint Kabirji says-
"Tirath na haye ek phal, sant mile phal char.
Satguru finds infinite fruit, says Kabir Vichar.
Shri Ram Sharma Acharya says - Sadguru is the one who is able to free a person from the bondage of life and death and give him the form of bliss. When a guru accepts a person as a disciple, he takes responsibility for his life. The process of refining the life of the disciple is thus completed gradually but still the sharp gaze of the Guru is always on his disciple. The Guru pays full attention to when and how to organize and handle the life and personality of the disciple. The Guru is the one who destroys the ignorance of man. If God is offended then Guru is the savior but if Guru is offended then no one can save him. Maharshi Vedavyasji says - Guru bhakti is the best for all this if you want to end carnality, conquer greed, destroy ego. The door of self-welfare does not open without a Sadguru. Sadguru is the representative of God. The great ascetic Sadguru is the true form of God. Jupiter is similar to Shiva. They move forward on the path of welfare by destroying the superstitions in the mind and heart of the disciple. Saint Kabir has said that
Guru Govind dono khade, kako lago paye.
Balihari Guru, if you meet Govind Diye.
Here the Guru who introduces and reconciles with God is given a higher status than God.
