Penance.

- Penance is a harsh masculinity. Achieving peace, prosperity, heaven, liberation, etc. can be achieved by doing penance. God only helps the man who is trying to improve himself.

Man's life is incomplete without penance. We can do penance only if we have the virtue of previous birth. The true wealth of life is penance. There are so many religious rituals for self welfare and each of them has its own importance, but in all of them penance is paramount. Listening to Katha and Satsang increases religious knowledge, making pilgrimage alleviates sins and lusts. Sacrifice nourishes the divine powers. Worship awakens devotion. Charity brings happiness and good fortune in the future.

All these deeds bear fruit according to their importance, but there is one function in all these which bears special fruit. Heat increases self-confidence. Brahmatej is ignited by heat. Only through heat do we get divine power. A man may be adorned with many things, he may be adorned with beautiful garments, ornaments made of gold and gems, tilak with floral musk and sandalwood, adorned with weapons and placed on a golden scaffolding, but if he does not have strength in his body, all these ornaments have no meaning. Instead, it is even more important if a strong wrestler wears ordinary clothes.

Different religious activities are a kind of furnishings. This enhances the beauty of the seeker. But the adornment becomes useful only if the seeker has a store of Brahmashakti accumulated through penance. If the seeker does not have self-strength, divine power, then there is no special benefit from all other religious activities.

Just like a huge building cannot be built without crops and strong foundations and if it is built, it will not last long. The people in the world who have achieved something have got it only because of Tapa. Through hard work, endurance, dedication, perseverance, concentration, perseverance and regularity, seekers get many kinds of achievements. Students, farmers, sculptors, musicians, physicians, leaders, monks, etc. strive in their respective fields to achieve success in their respective fields. Everyone gets success and achievement in proportion to their heat.

Reading the history, it is known that only the ardent male species have progressed and they have achieved power and progress. On the contrary, lazy, luxurious, timid, lazy and inactive people, individually and collectively, remain poor and backward and bring about their own destruction. Trees that withstand the effects of the seasons last longer, but those that have less endurance are also destroyed by a little cold or heat. Only ascetic human beings are seen to be successful in the world. In this world, only tapa is important. The laws of the divine statement apply equally to all the unconscious and the conscious.

In the spiritual realm, this rule works more widely. There is only one reason for the great men who have attained self-strength since the beginning of creation and that is penance.

The way eggs are served with the heat of a bird's chest, the way raw mangoes are cooked with neem or straw. In the same way, the heat of heat matures the secret powers in the body. And this makes the seeker powerful and accomplished. There are two ways in front of man, Tapa or Pat. These two are opposite to each other. Tap means to rise, while pat means to fall. He who does not do penance falls. So those who do not want the soul to fall have to do penance. Man can choose either of these two paths as he wishes. One who has to strive for spiritual advancement has to struggle with inferior attitudes. This is called penance.

Water always flows downwards and special efforts are required if it is to be carried upwards. The heat of the soul is considered the best. In ancient times, the king entrusted his sons to the sages for education by living an ascetic life in a gurukula. As a result, from the womb of Bharatmata, gems and great men were always born. Today, by abandoning that greatness, the atmosphere of families and society has become full of worries, quarrels, sins, unrest, etc., people are living a hellish life.

Penance is a rigid masculinity. By doing penance, achievement, peace, prosperity, heaven, liberation, etc. can be achieved. God only helps the man who is trying to improve himself. Only hardworking and brave people get rewards. Only a person who proves his sincerity through penance gets special grace and help from God.
