Sinusitis: Cause, Symptom and Treatment

- The main cause of inflammation is bacteria like Coryza virus, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus and Pneumococci.

There are four pairs of sinus packets called sphenoids above the eyes - frontal sinuses, under the eyes - antrum sinuses, between the eyes and just above the nose - the ethmoid sinus and the depth of the skull behind the nose. In fact, it is a type of air cavity that connects the nasal cavity to the endothelium and becomes an important basis for breathing. What if such air pockets had not formed in the body? So maybe the weight of our head feels a lot more than what we feel because it is through these cells that the air entering the body is regulated and the balance of the body organs is maintained.

The function of this structure is to keep the air moist with the mucous glands in it without stopping. In addition, it is used to prevent dust or germs from entering the body with the help of fine hairs (cilia) growing on its skin. Thus, the sinus pocket acts as the body's protective system (IMMUNE SYSTEM). This simple structure, which at first glance looks like a bone cavity, is actually a special and important part of the perfect machine called the body. Now, when this part of the sinus becomes swollen for any reason, the condition is called sinusitis. Simply put, swelling of the sinuses.

The main cause of inflammation is bacteria such as Coryza virus, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus and Pneumococci. All of these can cause infections in the body that can lead to diseases such as tonsillitis, tooth decay or the common cold. Thus, sometimes such infectious diseases may also be associated with sinuses. Nasal hemorrhoids, a twisted nasal membrane can sometimes cause allergic sinusitis. Factors such as temperature and humidity can also affect the sinuses.

After all these reasons let us now look at the symptoms of a person suffering from a disease called sinusitis.

The most painful symptom is pain. Below the eyes, above, in the middle of the nose, sometimes there is unbearable pain all over the head. Symptoms include shortness of breath, red eyes, tinnitus, and runny nose. Apart from this, symptoms like low fever or loss of appetite indicate that the disease is very old. Sometimes the pain that starts after a lot of sneezing and nasal congestion is an indication of an allergic disease. Now we need the details of the treatment. (1) Avoid stale food first. Prolonged exposure to heat, in particular, can lead to food poisoning or infection. Apart from this, avoid oily substances like oil, ghee, butter, cream and phlegm like sweets, sweets, ice cream, cold drinks. Eat boiled food and light snacks like mamara and roasted beans for breakfast. Yogurt and yogurt products, sour foods like mango, raw mango, pickles should not be included in the diet. (2) Ginger boiled water is a panacea for sinusitis. Individuals who are hot and warm in nature should use small amounts of ginger. Ordinary people prepare boiled water from this measure. If there is five glasses (about one liter) of water, add five grams (about one teaspoon) of ginger. Drink such warm water every two hours in a day. (2) Keep the head tilted down and apply two drops of warmed castor oil in both nostrils three times a day. (2) Take equal parts of turmeric and amla powder and mix about 5 grams of the mixture in the morning. (2) Wear a nozzle mask or cover your nose with a cotton handkerchief when going into a dusty or dusty polluted environment. (2) Mental disturbance - As there is a possibility of disease growing in times of stress, cultivate self-control, adopt meditation-yoga-exercise, try to maintain balance of mind. This primary treatment, which is followed for a month, will definitely benefit.
