It is mentioned in 'Mahashivpuran' that Billeshwar Mahadev and Killeshwar Mahadev were established on this hill near 'Batukanchalu'-Barda, Porbandar. There is a river named Bilvaganga on the bank of the river where the Shivaji temple is located.
