Lord Ganesha is worshiped at the beginning of all Manglik activities. He is called Ganesha because he is the lord of all the ganas. His form is very attractive. His head is that of an elephant and his vehicle is that of a rat. He has two wives named Ridhi and Siddhi. The Rig Veda mentions that all work begins through him. He is a Vedic deity. The Veda text begins with the utterance of Lord Ganesha. Ganesha is the primordial god. His presence is a must in Vedic richas. Ganesha Purana also mentions the worship of Brahma, Vishnu and Shivaji.

According to Ganapati Atharvashirsha (Vedic hymns) the whole world is produced by Ganapati. The world is in them and in the end they are absorbed in them. Sarva jagadidam tavatto jaay te, sarva jagadidantvattastisthati. Sarva jagadidam tvayi lyamesyati. Ganesha is unquestionably the first revered. Tulsidasji tells the first Sivakatha of Ramakatha in "Ramcharit Manas" in which he establishes Sriganesha as Adidevarupa.

Panchdev worship includes Shakti, Surya, Vishnu, Shiva and Ganapati. The question here is how can son Ganesh come in the marriage of Shivaparvati parents? Tulsidasji says, "Leave doubt, Ganesha is eternal in essence." Ganapati is worshiped first in rituals. Everyone knows that. But even seekers who want to move forward on the path of spirituality accept this basis. In Yoga, the awakening of Kundalini begins with the Muladhara Chakra. Its lord is Ganesha and it has four petals of the chakra. These four petals are Ganesh Chaturthi.

Bhadarva sud choth has special significance. Ganeshotsav begins from Chaturthi. Modak is dear to Ganeshji. Modak means ladu is a symbol of happiness. It always conveys the message of being happy and immersed in Brahmananda. It is also a symbol of Brahmashakti. The round shape of Modak is a symbol of the universe. It shows that everything arises from zero and vanishes into zero. Ganapati is the first revered because he stays with the seeker from beginning to end. They are also a way to reach a higher position and a goal. He is also the soul and also the paramatma. Ganadevata is the first revered Ganesha who is interested in everything. The rat that cuts anything is Ganapati's vehicle which is a symbol of controlling the attitude.

Ganesha is the presiding deity of intellect and learning. They are skilled in reasoning, debating. Gajan's ever-moving trunk conveys the message of always being alert and inspiring to overcome inertia. The trunk frightens the big digpalos. There is a popular belief that one should worship Ganesha with his trunk turned to the right for prosperity. While to defeat the enemy or to get Aishwarya, one should worship Ganesha with his left side turned. Keeping everything in the stomach is called lambodar.

Since Ganeshji was the knower of all the Vedas, Vedavyasji chose him as the scribe. He specializes in music, dance, etc. It is believed that his stomach is a treasure trove of various sciences. Because of their large ears, it is called Gajakarna. Big ears always indicate alertness, vigilance and caution.

All the symbols of Ganesha teach us to keep our intellect awake. Let us keep good or bad things in our stomachs, keep on doing good deeds for the alleviation of sins and increase Sattvaguna by destroying Tumoguna. Ganesha purifies and purifies our intellect and destroys our hindrances, and always blesses. Therefore, we should worship and pray to Ganesha for the attainment of auspicious things.
