History and importance of Shraddha

The ritual of Shraddha is also the first to be introduced in the world by Brahmaji. Brahmaji declared in Srishti Lok that "Pind Dan can be given to the fathers through Shraddha." After that, the first shraddha in the world of death was performed by 'Nimi Raja' and since then the tradition of this shraddha has been running on earth. Shraddha also happens in Devalok and death also happens in Lok.

Moreover, on certain dates, there is a special fruit of shraddha at that time. Such as Bhadarva Mass - the whole month in which Shukla Paksha is considered to be of the gods and Krishna Paksha is considered to be of the fathers. Now the shraddha of the unit in Krishna Paksha is to provide offspring. The person who performs this shraddha attains lineage growth by the grace of the fathers.

Shraddha of Amavasya is the Shraddha of fulfilling all mental desires. The placement of "Kagvas" in the Shraddha Paksha is also of special importance. According to our Puranas, the life span of a crow is about two hundred years, so the crow is believed to have seen our ancestors, so it is glorious to live, and in the month of Bhadarva, the crow's wife, the crow, becomes pregnant.

One of the arrangements of these sages and sages is to get enough food for this crow and to satisfy it, so that the birds are also satisfied through the fathers. There is also an opinion in the scriptures - it is believed that the 'Vat tree' and 'Pipla' tree were created from the crow's foot. The cactus, in particular, is the most oxygen-rich of all trees. So this is a system that also maintains oxygen well on the earth and also satisfies the birds.

It is important to eat milk or pudding in Shraddha. In the month of Bhadarva, from Krishna Paksha to Aarbhi and Sharad Parnima, the importance of milk consumption is because in Ayurveda, even diseases like acidity are destroyed by milk. According to Vishnu Purana, milk meal is meant to satisfy the parents.

Wealth and offspring are obtained when the parents are gracious to the family. What are the deeds to be done in Shraddha? So when there is a shraddha party, do not clash at home. Peace is dear to parents. Let us fulfill our life by getting the blessings of the fathers by offering the father with faith. In "Dharma Sindhu" it is said that by performing Shraddha, the fathers attain Sadgati for two thousand years.
