Why is Pithori Amas called 'Mother's Day'?

Shra Van Vad Amas is called Darbhagrahani Amavasya or Pithori Amavasya. This is the month when women fast. According to this ritual, women bring fresh sattvashil darbha and worship the sixty-four goddesses. As a result, they have offspring. This amas which gives good fortune to a woman is also known as 'Mother's Day'.

According to the Bhavishyapurana, a woman gave birth to dead sons. So he went into the forest and pleased the sixty-four jogis, praying that his sons would live. And with the blessing of the Joganis his sons began to live. The gist of this story is that sons should live. Living sons are virtuous sons, cultured sons who can be a beacon to the clan. And yes, only with such sons can the mother's head be proudly high in the world. We are told to the woman of Simanti that- 'You will never give birth to a pale, weak or discouraged son.' A good son is better than a hundred foolish sons. A moon that dispels darkness. Not a cluster of stars.

The mother who gives birth to such living sons is absolutely admirable. Indian culture has enhanced the pride of the mother as a god. The life of a child is shaped by the affection of the mother and the irrigation of the sacraments. The mother is hopeless. Bhangyani Bheru is. Nasipas is the inspiration. Is the best pilgrimage in the world. Heaven is at the feet of the mother. The cradle that cradles the tax rules the world. Arpi duun so janm evadu ma tuj lehenu! What a glorious homage to mother!

Indian culture is adorned with many such heroic mothers. Gyanmurti Madalasa, who aroused the values of true Virkit in his child, is ever memorable. Why should we forget the 'Sarvadaman' from which our country is named 'Bharat', i.e. the Shakuntala of Adyajan who gave birth to Bharat? Every mother is like to get a vision of life from Shubhdarsh's mother skills. Sumitra of Lakshman-Jana is also adored. Lovekush's mother Sita also deserves respect. Mother Anja became successful by giving birth to Hanuman. During the Mahabharata period, Kunta also faced many difficulties and made the life of her sons super and gave pride of motherhood. Abhimanyu's mother Subhadra also deserves salutations. Jijabai's contribution in shaping the life of Shivaji Maharaj is no small feat. The culmination of devotion in the true sense is that we become determined to increase the pride of the mother of the nation or the mother of culture rather than remembering such mothers. Let us celebrate this Mother's Day festival with the joy of seeing God in the mother with a spiritual vision. Sujnoshu ki bahuna?
