Controversy over ban on abortion

- The most cruel section of this law is that even a woman or child who has been raped does not have the right to abortion

Cases of rape of a child of co-found age are increasing day by day. After such an incident, in some cases, the raped child becomes pregnant. The tradition of applying to the court for an abortion when this happens has been well-known in India for the last few years. The court also grants such abortion leave on humanitarian grounds. This provides a kind of emotional support to the rape victim and also an indirect opportunity to forget the atrocities committed against her.

In a developing country like India, the courts can be so lenient that it would be surprising if a state like the United States enacts a law banning abortion. The reason for this is understandable. America is much richer than India in terms of material wealth. But marriage is not stable there. Divorce is caused by walking and trivializing.

In some cases, men and women are constantly marrying and divorcing. In some cases, both characters have older children in their later marriages. Social life seems to have deteriorated to such an extent that children of twelve or thirteen years never tie the knot with their parents. No wonder there is free communication, drug use and horizontal relationships.

According to one view, abortion is considered a form of sin in Christianity. It is also said that Christianity does not recognize abortion. On September 1, the Texas state government enacted a law banning abortion, which was immediately challenged in court. The petitioners described the law as a violation of fundamental rights. But the Texas Supreme Court upheld the law and dismissed the petitions. The state of Mississippi also had lawsuits against such laws.

"We're still studying the Supreme Court's ruling," Elizabeth Nash, an expert at the Gutmacker Institute, a social organization that fights for the right of any woman to have an abortion in Texas and conducts medical research. We will then decide what to do.

Similarly, some other states in the United States have enacted laws banning abortion and in some places the law has been challenged in court. The expert who drafted the details of the law in Texas spelled it in such a way that even though the lawyers defined it in court. Four out of five votes passed the law. With that, the uproar started.

Media reports that the law was being drafted led to a regular influx of women seeking abortions in private nursing homes and hospitals in July-August this year. Some doctors told the media that we didn't even have time to have lunch in the afternoon so there was such a huge rush. Before the law was enacted and enforced, women were forced to have abortions. The lawsuit was settled out of court on September 1, just before the law was enacted.

Expert doctors say that the respiratory process of a fetus usually starts from the sixth week after a woman becomes pregnant. In medical terms it is known as cardiac activity. That is why this law is also known as 'Heartbeat Law'.

Doctors say that sometimes a woman misses her period (menstruation) until she realizes that she is pregnant. Some women have irregular periods so they do not realize that they have missed a period.

The most cruel section of this law is that even a woman or a child who has been raped does not have the right to an abortion. The wording of the law was prepared in such a way that he could not apply to the court. The law adds that in some cases, an abortion cannot be performed even if there is a known or unintentional relationship between a cousin or a Christian sibling. It also added a strict provision that the law cannot be challenged in court on a constitutional issue.

Attempts to legislate abortion have been made in Mississippi, Kentucky, Ohio and Georgia. But Texas has become the first state in the United States to enact a law.
