O God ! Make me a worshiper of 'Shubh Panchami', not a worshiper of 'Lobh Panchami'

- What are the five ways to fight 'greed' in life?

On the occasion of Ganeshotsav, two men are standing in front of the idol of Ganesha. One man said: 'Lord! Give me 'benefits'.'

Another said: 'Give me not only benefit but also' greed '. If you get as much as you want, then if man stops trying harder, then give me both 'profit' and greed. '

A third man was standing nearby. He was of sattvic nature. He asked God to give me not only Riddhi-siddhi but also 'wisdom'. With 'intelligence' I will be able to achieve everything. Give wisdom only to those who are pure. Irrational intellect drives man to fall.

Ganeshji has two sons. Welfare and benefits. Wisdom is conducive to making human life meaningful.

Benefits other than the spirit of benevolence lead man to be 'greedy'. That is why life should become 'Gyan Panchami' instead of 'Labh' Pancham.

According to a story, Parvati did not have a son for a long time after marrying Shivaji. That is why Shivaji advised Parvatiji to do 'Punyakavrat'. The deity Vishnu was pleased with the Punyakavrat. He blessed that a son would be born in Parvatiji's womb. At the birth of that son, sages, gods, and Gandharvas also came. Shanidev also accompanied him. Parvatiji requested Shanidev to visit her newborn son. But Shani said: 'I will not see this child, because my wife has cursed me that the child you see will die.' However, Parvatiji insisted on seeing her son Shanidev.

Shanidev's vision fell on the newborn baby and his head was cut off. The news of Parvati's crying reached Vishnu. As Vishnu was leaving, an elephant was spotted lying in his path. Vishnu cut off his head and placed it on the torso of Parvatiji's newborn baby and brought the child back to life. Since then Ganapati is worshiped as Vighneshwar. This is mentioned in the Brahmavaivarta Purana.

In Shivpuran (Purvardha) also one is connected with Ganesha. Inspired by his friends, Girija made a statue out of the dirt of his own body and revived it with the name of Ganapati. He became a guard and started working as a gatekeeper. Once when Shivaji reached home with his twelve times, Ganapati stopped him from going inside. Ganapati won the battle with Shivaji's Gano and other deities. Finally, seeing the symptoms of the cataclysm, Ganapati's head was cut off. Hearing all this from Naradaji's mouth, Girija manifested monstrous powers from his body, which began to devour the gods. Frightened, the gods surrendered to the church and begged to be stopped. According to the condition, it was decided that the dead child should be resurrected and this child should be worshiped before the worship of Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh. Inspired by Shivaji, Vishnu went north to find the head of any animal. From there he brought the elephant's head and attached it to the torso of Girijaji's son. And by the grace of Shivaji, Ganesha came alive.

Ganapati and Skanda were of the same age in terms of marriage. So it was decided that the one who would come first by orbiting the earth would be married first. Ganapati worshiped his parents and said: 'Mother, the Vedas call you Tribhuvan Swarup. Your circumambulation is the same as the circumambulation of the three worlds. ' Due to his eloquence, Rizvi got married to Ganesha, a girl named Vishwaroop Siddhi and Buddhi. Giving this news to Skanda, Narde provoked him. Nand walked on the Crouch mountain. Every Poonam Devas visit him.

There are four incarnations of Ganapati

1. Kashyapputra Vinayak in Kritaputra or Satputra. In this incarnation they were riding on a lion. He killed Devantak Narantak.

. Mayureshwar, the son of Shiva, who lived in Mathura in the third age. He killed the Indus.

. Shivaputra Gajanan in Dvaparayuga. He killed Sidur. And Varenya Raja had a darshan of Ganesha.

. Dhumraketu riding a horse in Kali Yuga. They will destroy the mlechcho.

Why is the whole world restless, anxious, and distressed today? Because he has become a worshiper of 'Lobheshwar' and not of 'Vighneshwar'. It needs to be regulated by common sense to curb greed. In Jainism, the word 'Gyan Panchami' is used for 'Labh Pancham' which is quite appropriate. The Ishavasya Upanishad was concerned with the dire consequences of greed or temptation. That is why the mantra 'Maa Grudh Kasya Swidhanam' was given as the first mantra. There can be no better advice than 'do not be greedy for anyone's wealth'. The oblivion of this motto has given the world a fertile ground for the spread of immorality and wickedness. Explaining the awfulness of greed, Devi Bhagavat Purana says: “Greed is full of infinite sins. Who has not been subdued by this evil greed? Greedy kings tend to forget their superiority and do bad deeds. A greedy man kills his parents, brother, teacher, and cousins. (Including wife). ' Greed is the enemy of truth and anger. Shameless self-promotion for Ballistic Products and a great bargain on a neat little knife for you. The greedy man knows neither religion nor benevolence. Dipotsavi and all the festivals of nine years can have the same prayer: 'Lord! Let me not be a worshiper of 'Labh' or 'Lobh Panchami' but a worshiper of 'Shubh Panchami'. Only then will the troublemaker Ganesh be happy. What are the five ways to curb 'greed'?
