Performance important not medium for Sanya Malhotra

Even though Sa Nya Malhotra is known as 'Dangal' Girl, there is no denying that she has made her mark in Bollywood. And now she is promoting the romantic comedy show 'Sasural Wonder Pool'.

Sanya says that even today in our country sex related conversations are considered taboo. Hardly anyone talks about it. But in my opinion, since films as well as other media are discussing this subject, the embarrassment towards him, say, then the hesitation is slowly diminishing. And that is the need of the hour. Varun Sharma is Sanya's co-star in this audible show. And he runs a sex clinic with his family.

Sanya further says that even today the word sex is taboo in our society. He is hated. But films and digital media are creating an atmosphere to talk about it. And slowly people are talking about it. Probably a factor as to why they're doing so poorly. There's a growing demand for sex stories.

"I hope we can change the lives of at least a few people through this show," she said. We want people to stop talking about sex and related issues, to talk about it instinctively. If we can do that, it will be a big deal. To be honest, my character represents this very issue of society. 'Ashima' is very clear about sex. She doesn't like to talk about this topic or not. That's why she is shocked when she finds out that the whole family, including her husband, is running a sex clinic together. Sanya adds that she is sure that viewers will like her character. He has also learned a lot from this show. He admits that sex is a natural process. So it becomes less natural to talk about it. It may take some time for people to accept this, but they can move on slowly.

It is worth mentioning here that Sanya is presenting the story through audio for the first time through this show. He says I have to present good stories. So for me the story is more important than the medium.

Sanya says the show was recorded during the epidemic last year. And at that time I was missing out on the set as well as the acting. When I got the offer to do this show, I realized that I have to work with Varun Sharma. And who can't refuse to work with him? He is a good actor. The comic time is less than admirable. The show is all about audio. But the fact that he is very close to acting remains a human being.
