- Twelve years of caramel drought and human beings seeking food grains, drops of water!
- Eye oyster, distance pearl-Acharya Shri Vatsalyadeep Suriji
- Living between splendor and happiness is a religious philanthropy like a family. Millions of human beings who stand together in the middle of the night in someone's distress.
Look at The Rati anywhere but not a single spark of grass was visible.
The sky was blank.
Not one, not two, but twelve years of famine.
There was a famine. Those who were poor were drowned in famine. Those who were rich could not get even a handful of rice.
Death spread over the barren land.
Human and animal skeletons were roaming around. The man without food was laughing at the ugly laughter of death.
That was the time after Acharya Vajraswamiji's Nirvana. The day before his death, Acharya Vajraswamiji said to Patdhar disciple Acharya Vajrasen Suri, 'Remember one thing.
There will be a drought from tomorrow. There will be a twelve year drought. At that time on the last day of the famine you must have gone to someone's house to beg. Then it would happen that he would have given one lakh Sonia to get enough food for the family. The next day it will start to get better and everyone will start getting food. '
Acharya Vajrasen Suriji remembered the prophecy uttered by Guru, but he went into a trance.
Twelve-year-old Carmo continued the drought. Jain monks mostly migrated to Nepal.
At that time a family lived in Soparak Nagar (today's Nalasopara). The family of Jindatta Seth. Seth's concubine's name is Ishwari. A woman overflowing with the splendor of virtues.
Jindatta Seth's name is very big in Soparak town. The fifth best asked.
Sethani Ishwari is also a majestic woman. The one who looks down.
Living between splendor and happiness is a religious philanthropy like a family. Millions of human beings who stand together in the middle of the night in someone's distress.
But time is of the essence. Today, after a 12-year car famine, the day came when he did not even have a single grain of food in his house! Not a drop of water!
Sethani Ishwari said to Seth Jindatta, 'You take the gold pieces lying in the house in a big container. Bring as much rice as you can to our family from wherever you can find it. Let's get poison in it. Let's sit together and eat in the name of the Lord. No more days without food and water! '
Tears came to Seth Jindatta's eyes. He obeyed Sethani Ishwari's instruction silently.
Seth worked hard, paid one lakh Sonia and brought rice.
Sethani Ishwari prepared it with great joy.
When it was time for lunch, the whole family gathered to eat. Together they remembered the Navkar Mantra. Sethani was preparing to get poison in a pan full of rice. At that moment a voice was heard in his ear: 'Dharmalabh!'
All shone.
All they saw was a sage standing in the doorway.
The principal was Vajrasen Suri.
Seth Jindatta and Sethani Ishwari and their family got to know Acharya Maharaj.
They all stood up and saluted.
Acharya Maharaj asked, 'What are you doing?'
Sethani Ishwari spoke the whole thing with watery eyes.
Acharya Maharaj says, 'Stand up! My guru has gone on to say that the day someone tells you to bring rice by spending one lakh Sonia in the pasture, he will say that it will be better the next day. You don't get poisoned. Tomorrow will be a wonderful day. '
All rejoiced.
Really, it rained the next day! A ship full of grain arrived at the port of Soparak Nagar!
Jain rule was hailed everywhere.
Sethani Ishwari was lost in thought that day. He said to Seth and his four sons, 'We are living today thanks to Jainism and Acharya Maharaj. This world has no value. If we do not wake up at this moment, when will we wake up? Let us go to Acharya Maharaj and take initiation in his shelter. '
Everyone obeyed him.
Arya Ishwari became the great nun of Jainism.
Prabhavana ઃ Saint Ravi Shankar Maharaj of Gujarat said, 'I request the parents to make your children able to cope with cold and hunger without making them Mayakangala. Feed them well but don't feel sorry for them while working. But make your children heirs of virtue, not heirs of property. '
