Alaya F : Mastered the art of getting out of character

- Alaya's complex role in the recently streamed film 'Freddy' was both praised and criticized. His film came after a long time. A long break at the beginning of a career can be a worry for any artist.

A Bhinetri Alaya A left an impression on the audience from the first film of her career 'Jawani Jaaneman'. His recent film 'Freddy' has received mixed reviews. Alaya's complex role in the film is being praised as well as criticized. However, Alaya's second film came a long time after the first film with Saif Ali Khan. A long break at the beginning of a career can be a worry for any artist.

However, Alaya says that after the release of my first movie, the world was locked due to Corona. How can I do my work in such a situation? She further says that due to the success of my first film, I believed that now I will get many films and I will continue to work. But that didn't happen. Of course, I was in touch with people through social media. I didn't want people to forget me after one film. And since there was no other work at that time, social media was the biggest tool to keep busy. Otherwise I don't take this platform very seriously. That is to say, I am not addicted to it. And I don't give a damn what people say about me on social media.

Although Alaya shot three films during the second lockdown, 'Freddy' has been released. And now Anurag Kashyap's 'Almost Pyaar' will come. Its world premiere took place not long ago. And now soon this movie will release here too. After that a remake 'U Turn' will come. The actress is working with Rajkumar Rao in Srikanth Bola's biopic.

Karthik Aryan has done a great job as the lover who is obsessed and tormented by him in 'Freddy'. However, it is not easy for all actors to come out after being given such scenarios. But Alaya says that I can play any role very easily and can also come out with the same ease. Yes, I need enough time to prepare my characters. But for the role of 'Freddy' I didn't even get a day's time so I was very nervous. Giving the reason for this, Alaya says that just one day before the shooting of 'Freddy' started, I returned from the 45-day shooting of 'U Turn' in Chandigarh. I was scared when I went to the set. I find it hard to absorb a character unless I do the homework. But everyone, including its lead actor Karthik Aryan, supported me a lot and I was able to do my job well. She further says that Karthik is a dedicated artist towards his work. He used to sit silently on the set after the scene was over. In fact, he did not want to disturb his character. Action-reaction sequence went on with him.

While praising Kartik Aryan, she also does not miss to praise Saif. Alaya says that 'Jawaani Jaaneman' was my first film. But Saif Ali Khan didn't let me feel that I was a newcomer. He supported me in the wake of Dougal.

You will be surprised to know that Alaya does not take any work advice from her mother Pooja Bedi. She says I don't discuss my career with my family. To be honest, I learn to mingle with people from my mom. When he meets someone, the atmosphere becomes cheerful. I also want the atmosphere to be pleasant when I meet someone.
