- Shabd Surane Mele-Rajesh Vyas 'Miskin'
- The element that connects every bird to the sky is the wing. But what if there are no feathers in that wing?
Taking a deep breath again, I stand quietly.
I stand in silence with thirst between my thirsty lips.
You will definitely meet again, I'm sure so again
I stand silent with the old faith.
At the end of the rain you left,
I am standing silently on the bank with the grass growing there.
Chasing the fallen evening with the fallen in hand,
I am standing, I am standing silently with the sky in my eyes.
Incomplete name, address, street and village of the deprived,
I stand in silence with our incomplete history.
- Deprived Kukmawala
A poet has to depict a world in very few words, i.e., with grace. The words that are written in poetry express the unwritten words. The words of the poem take us to a bottomless world. Vanchit Kukmawala is a poet living in Kutch. Suresh Dalal has said for him that, his poetry is a deri near a green tree, where the sound of small bells is heard following the wind. The ghazal collection of this shire is named after a deri near a green tree. unfruitful tree. A tree without leaves. Even if there is no leaf, it is a tree. I remembered one of my ghazals written years ago.
Nothing happened to me, no relationship broke,
The twig remained completely green and the leaves did not sprout.
- Miskin
The pain can be manifested only through flowers, green inside and not a single leaf has sprouted. In another way, this Aparna tree can be seen that even though today it is a tree without a single bud, but this Aparna tree is a tree with many buds and endless potential of leaves-fruit-flowers.
The first word at the beginning of the ghazal is again.. and we realize that something like this has already happened before. The poet stands silent. We all stand quietly and watch the situation. Maybe till now they were standing in the hope that now it will rain and quench the thirst, now we will reach that parab and get cold water. Maybe the thirst will be quenched today. But how disappointed when nothing happens. But in such moments, it is not a small thing that some hope in the heart will give us life, give us the strength to live, rather than sitting down completely depressed. That is why the poet says that
Taking a deep breath again, I stand quietly,
I stand in silence with thirst between my thirsty lips.
There is a song in the same ghazal, only hope lies deep in the midst of a million disappointments, that hope wins us over. The beloved character has not promised to meet again. Only the heart is sure that one will surely meet again in life and that is why the poet is standing in waiting with the old faith anew after shedding all the disappointments. Love is based on trust. The breath of love is faith.
Now both the shares present two beautiful amazing pictures. The dear character who left the road for the last time in the last rain and because of that rain the little grass that sprouted from the earth has now become grass is spending days waiting with that grass in hand. For a drowning person, swimming is a big deal. Here, the poet holds us along with the beloved character in the form of hope and memory.
The element that connects every bird to the sky is the wing. But what if there are no feathers in that wing? Even though the names of the birds are different, the important function of each feather is the same to keep the bird flying, to keep it connected to the sky. It was no big deal if the poet had said that I am standing with the fallen feather in my hand in the fallen evening. But when someone says that I stand in silence with a pen in my hand and the whole sky in my eyes, that silence has many colors. The reader derives value and meaning from it as he likes.
When the poet mentions his name or nickname in the last part of a ghazal, it is called Maktano part. One's name, one's address, one's street and one's village are incomplete without a beloved character. The poet does not say that you come, the poet only says that I stand silently with our incomplete history without you. It is this deprivation of the deprived that makes him write ghazals. The poet clearly believes that poetry is an institution, a school where the poet has to learn the lessons of his entire consciousness, worldview, vision, consciousness. Exams to test one's word have to be given. The desert, the sea, the lack appear in the poet's poems and according to him mature his entire deprivation in him. Poetry gives a new vision to the sorrow of lack of life.
Let's look at another ghazal of the poet, we cannot dispel our inner doubts. That's why in life, no good thing can be brought up, cannot be developed. We may crowd and confuse each other but we never find ourselves surrounded. Starting to write a letter to someone, everything is absorbed in the address itself We have covered ourselves so much by wearing clothes that now everything is covered. The word transparency seems to have been given away. God is present. Only we have not been able to increase the fruit of our faith, all the gods have turned to stone.
could not raise
Unable to dispel doubt from the root,
Couldn't bring anyone in.
constantly flocking to each other,
But could not surround himself slightly.
After the letter reaches the addressee,
Could not add a single character.
Take a short dress for the eyes,
Couldn't wear transparency.
The gods are all stone at last,
The fruits of faith could not increase.
