Tips and tricks to stay in style in winter

Winter is here and this changing season calls for new styling to match the weather conditions. To embrace winter without compromising on style, the actors of EndTV rejuvenate their wardrobes and share their best winter fashion styles.

These artists include Neha Joshi Kama Path and Vidisha Srivastava.

Neha Joshi, who plays the role of Yashoda in the serial 'Doosri Maa', says, 'The weather in Rajasthan becomes very cold in winter. The average temperature drops to 0 degrees Celsius during the night. I have spent a lot of time in Maharashtra, so Jaipur winters are a welcome change. Layered clothing is a must to keep warm in this season. Especially during this season the weather is dry or semi dry which I like. The weather drops significantly at night, so I've decided to change my wardrobe for the next few months. Winter dresses are beautiful and inspired by the colors and cultures of the royal state of Rajasthan, which complement your look while keeping you warm and fashionable. I wear my lightweight cotton kurtis during the day and after sunset my woolen jacket, which I bought recently at Jaipur's famous Nehru Bazaar. I have also added different colored shawls to my wardrobe, which I sometimes wear during my sessions as Yashoda. I have bought some shawls for my mother and am looking forward to giving them to her.'

Kamana Pathak, who plays the role of Rajesh in the serial 'Happu Ki Ultan Paltan', says, 'I am from Madhya Pradesh and winters are mild there and ideal for vacationing. This time is a great time to visit that state. Temperatures can be moderate to intense at this time of the year. My mother fills my wardrobe with jackets, overcoats, skullcaps, mittens, mufflers, scarves and thermal wear. Over the years my mother and grandmother have knitted beautiful mittens, sweaters and mufflers for my brother and me, which we both wear with joy and pride. A few mittens and sweaters are still in my wardrobe. My mother had just given me a fashionable greycardigan sweater, which I thought she might have bought from the famous Sarafa Bazaar in Indore, but was surprised to learn that she had made it herself. This cardigan sweater has a beautiful cool design on the shoulders and can be worn with jeans, kurta or saree. My ultimate winter style statement is wearing my mother's knitted woolen sweaters.'

Vidisha Srivastava, who plays Anita Bhabhi in 'Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai' on And TV, says, 'The clothes I wear in winter are mostly pop-coloured blazers, thigh-high boots, long trench coats or monochromatic sets. I spend most of the beautiful winters in my hometown Varanasi. In winter it is important to wear jacket and warm clothes. I still have my little sweaters and mufflers in there. Winter nights in Varanasi are very cold, making it necessary to wear thick jackets and shawls. Recently I read that made-in Varanasi pashmina shawls are in high demand these days. I love shawls. I want to buy it. Plus this season is perfect for curling up in your bed, watching your favorite shows and sipping hot coffee in your super comfy clothes (laughs).'
