Face recognition technology recognizing our face with digital technology is the hot topic of the entire tech world right now.

The European Union plans to impose a five-year ban on the use of this technology in public so that it can have enough time to devise appropriate rules to avoid abuse of the technology. Google CEO Sundar Pichai is also welcoming her.

There is news that Indian Railways plans to install face recognition systems at major railway stations to curb crime. Testing has started at Bengaluru station now.

Privacy advocates have begun to protest this railway decision, but today it is becoming almost impossible to avoid CCTV surveillance in public places!
