Box office is everything: Krunal Khemu

The film industry has been under scrutiny for the past few months. The playing field here is not parallel, says actor Krunal Khemu, adding, "Unfortunately, everything in Bollywood boils down to the box office."

'The business model of the film industry is established and it is the one that runs the box office, the box office is everything, and that determines everything. From business to talent and content ની everything depends on the box office. Sometimes on Fridays, the film gets a tremendous opening and the fish is all wrapped up in one person who is backing the film, Krunal Khemu added.

He acknowledged that the main reason for the failure of the industry is to make the actor feel that this is where all the problems start. 'Where this happens is where the posture is wrong, fake and at the same time the talent gets corroded where there is support behind it, which leads to favoritism and groupism. It all comes down to a big umbrella, called nepotism, 'he explained.

However, Krunal Khemu notes that not all problems have anything to do with it as the industry is the only department, this is an eco-system, there is an internal process of the film. It starts with the producers and the directors and then it reaches the marketing promotion, distribution and finally the exhibition, which shows what kind of performance the film will have. If there is a cut-throat competition, you can't even release the film. ' Khemu said.

The actor believes that there is an urgent need for introspection in the film industry. "Everyone who is a part of this ecosystem is responsible for this. We all need to tighten the screws. I agree that this cannot be done, because We need to be a little more responsible in the way we operate, 'Krunal concludes.
