Kelly's application for bail was rejected

A federal judge in Chicago has also rejected Kelly's latest application for bail. The R&B star argued that one of the prison inmates attacked him and knocked him down and the rest of the inmates were silently watching. No one helped him. Kelly argued that she was not safe in prison. The singer's request for a hearing on the alleged assault in prison in August was also denied by U.S. District Judge Harry Lennenweber. The judge ruled in his favor that the incident was "absolutely certain" but not serious enough for Kelly to be released immediately. The judge further said that such an isolated incident does not mean that the prison administration is not able to keep Kelly safe.
