Looking at the achievements, fame and wealth of a person in life, one can feel how lucky this person is or how easily his life is going on without any difficulty. But very few people lose sight of the unselfish struggle behind success in life. It is Chhotu Sharma who succeeded after a great struggle. Chhotu Sharma's family lives in a very small village in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. Growing up in a middle-class family where his father's income barely covered his household expenses, Chhotu Sharma came to Chandigarh in search of a job after finishing his bachelor's degree. . Only a graduate would not get a good job, so he decided to take a computer course. He inquired about the course at the computer center, but at that time the fee for the course was thirteen rupees a month, while his father was getting a pension of eighteen hundred to two thousand rupees a month.
It was difficult for him to stay in Chandigarh and do this course in such a situation, so he accepted the job of an office boy in a computer center. Thus getting the opportunity to do the course rather than the job. He completed his course in one year and had the opportunity to teach other students at the center. When I did a one-year course at the computer center, people noticed that Anne had a passion for learning technology and good skills, so she asked her students to study. In addition to working at the center, Chhotu Sharma also started teaching some children at home. He spent the whole day tutoring children in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula and reached the center at 4 pm. Thirty to forty km of cycling was being done daily to give tuition to twelve to fifteen students.
Teaching children was his 'passion' and the children also liked his method of study, so the number of students gradually increased, but it was not possible for everyone to go home. One of the students' father learned of his condition. He worked in a bank, so he helped get a loan to buy a motorcycle. Thus, after working hard for two years, he started his own institute by buying two or three computers in a small flat. In the short span of six months he started the institute, he trained eighty students and the number of students continued to grow. The number increased so much that the space in the institute started getting less so other took place.
Is. In 2006, he started his own company called CS Infotak. He would take projects from different companies and train the students rather than this project, so that the students would also realize how the work is done in this field. He has trained more than a thousand students from his institute, some of whom are currently working in a multinational company, while others work with him. Inspired by the company's success, he started a software development company called CS Soft Solutions in 2006 with his wife Shalini Sharma. Through this company they provide services to companies involved in web development, designing, mobile application development, online marketing.
Chhotu Sharma's company, which once worked as an office boy, now has 400 employees and a turnover of Rs 10 crore a year, but Chhotu Sharma has not forgotten his days. They help children and people in need as much as possible. He was honored with Himachal Pride in 2006 for his contribution to the field of education. He has also won the title of 'Young Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year 2018'. Encouraging the younger generation, he says success does not come overnight. For that you have to work hard every day to move forward.
Confrontation against the threat of the Taliban
Hushna once worked hard to control unruly police officers, but this austerity and reform efforts caused him to be publicized.
Much work has been done in this direction since the late twentieth century with the understanding that the progress of the country is not rapid without the advancement of women, but even today the struggle of women is not over. Today, as the world enters the third decade of the 21st century, women in our neighboring country Afghanistan are fighting for their dignity and freedom. One of them is Hushna Jalil. Born and raised in Ghazni, Afghanistan on the 19th. Afghanistan was Taliban-dominated at the time and school doors for girls were closed. Then what about modern education? But Hushna Jalil was lucky. Her father was an advocate of women's education, so his efforts allowed the girls of the area to be educated in madrassas in conservative attire. The girls who went to study were so happy because it was the first ray of light in their dark world.
When Hushna was young, the situation in Afghanistan was deteriorating day by day. There was an atmosphere of violence all around. The women could not get out of the house. Afghanistan was considered the most feared country for women in the world, but the 2001 terrorist attack on the Twin Towers in the United States marked a turning point in the lives of many.
The Taliban regime came to an end in 2001. Hamid Karzai took over the reins of power. Schools started. Hushna earned a bachelor's degree in physics after high school. He then went on to pursue an MBA at the American University of Afghanistan. Did. Hushna Jalil's joy was unsurpassed. Worked as a member of management bards in private and government companies. Started his own company. She did everything with sincerity.
When corruption became a problem in Afghanistan when Ashraf Ghani came to power in 2014, he appointed educated youth as senior advisers to ministries. At that time Hushna was made head of the policy and research directorate in the Ministry of Petroleum. Due to her experience and ability, she became Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2012 at the age of only 26 years. He had an idea of what situation he would have to face while holding this position, as it was difficult to work in this position in a patriarchal country and society.
He also realized that these people were not afraid of the Taliban, but that it was dangerous for a woman to reach such a position. He worked hard, but it was difficult to move forward with what Hushna wanted to change. Raising various obstacles to the implementation of any of its decisions or delaying the decision. Men have to work longer and harder than men.
Hushna Jalil once worked hard to control uncontrollable police officers, but due to this austerity and reform efforts, he started getting publicity. She was called a 'prostitute', but she kept working despite all these things. Despite repeated death threats from the Taliban, he visited 26 of the country's 34 provinces, which his peers did not. This year, she has become the Deputy Minister of Women's Affairs. He works for the rights of women, youth and children, but says these rights are in a basket that can be easily set aside.
He says I am a Muslim and so is the Taliban, but the definition of the values of Islam is different. Both have frames with Islamic values, but the picture inside is lost. In Afghanistan, the Taliban kill journalists, doctors, judges and women in public. Working in such a situation, Hushna's only goal is that if I succeed in my work, it will open the door not only for my career, but for the women of Afghanistan and the generation to come. He believes that my death will happen only when it has to happen. I am not negligent for his safety, but I do not want to quit my job out of fear.
