Vidya Balan is truly the 'Lion' of Bollywood

- Vidya Balan's choice of films and roles is different from others, which is why she has dared to do 'The Dirty Picture', 'Kahani', 'Tumhari Sulu' and 'Shakuntala Devi'.

- Trading of 'Sherani'

Vidya Balan's dialogues of 'Sherni' are very much liked by the viewers, especially the female viewers, and many women have done it by heart and if necessary, 'Jungle Kitna Bhi Ghana Kyun Na Ho, Sherni Apna Rasta Dhoondh Hi Leti Hai ..' This dialogue speaks while showing his roof. 'Sherney' is getting good response on OTT. Let go for a few days and everyone will know how much this 'share' is roaring. Vidya Balan's choice of films and roles is different from other heroines, which is why she has dared to do 'The Dirty Picture', 'Kahani', 'Tumhari Sulu' and 'Shakuntala Devi' and that is why these films are 'Vidya-centric'. ‘Known as films in which female characters are at the center. 'Sherni' is one such film in which Vidya Bhal has made her mark in the jungle area.

Referring to 'Sherni', Vidya Balan says, 'The experience of this film was very refreshing and I really stepped on the forest land and also experienced it, which was a really non-family territory for me. My jungle safari journey has been a truly wonderful experience. I have seen many documentaries based on wildlife to understand the jungle world, although the jungle I have experienced here has never happened anywhere. My experience with nature has definitely changed after working in this film. '

Regarding 'Shakuntala Devi' and now 'Sherni' released on OTT, Vidya says, 'We can't say anything about this. This situation has arisen which the film industry has not created. There is no such thing as a video revolution in the '70s. This is an epidemic. Which has affected all people and industries in which the film industry is no different. OTT platforms provide the best option to showcase your content.

Secondly it is best to use this option when the content is ready. Similarly, 'Shakuntala Devi' did not know where it was going to be released - at the theater or at OTT. Similarly, it was thought that 'Sherni', shot during the second wave of Kovid, would be released in theaters, but it was released on OTT. What happened is good. However the scenario has changed. It is a matter of great pleasure that the film, which was released on OTT, has been seen by viewers from 20 countries. Due to this, the film has also got new viewers. Even when the theaters reopen fully, the OTT platforms will continue and the theaters will do their job, it is believed. These will be two different experiences. '

In response to a question about how your films appeal to Vidya-centric cinema-goers, Vidya said, "I humbly accept what you ask, but I often feel the same way. Because I make a film that can resonate with me. I prefer a film that reflects my current ideology. I wanted to meet the forest and that is why I became a lioness. So I don't think this is my conscious attempt to challenge the status quo. It's just like what I did along the way. I am really grateful and welcome to those who wrote such stories and made films from them.

You can't set foot outside to do such films. In 'Sherni' you will find a new kind of strong woman. Which proceeds for the right work. My film selection is like a two-way street - people who write and some of these stories are offered to me and I accept that I like it. We meet in the middle. I want in such a role? I think about it, but I can't answer it and I believe that everything that happened is good. '
