TV TALK.

Karan Thackeray leans towards OTT

Karan Thackeray, a well-known small screen artist, has now moved into the digital space. Karan, who made his debut in the field with 'Special Ops' last year, is currently shooting his next web project in Jharkhand. He says the digital space is quite challenging and now I want to focus on it fully. I think when you shoot a web show for eight hours you can't think that it's just enough work to fill in the little gaps that come in between. In fact, this is a very difficult medium. In it you have to present your reality and creativity. That's why I like working in this field more. If there is any raw material in your work, the viewers will catch it.

Business talks rarely take place in Madalsa's house

It is a well known fact that the gorgeous actress Madalsa who is playing the role of 'Kavya' in 'Anupama' is the daughter-in-law of veteran actor couple Mithun Chakraborty and Yogita Bali. She is playing a gray role in this show. But he doesn't care. Madalasa says that I enjoy playing this role. Not only that, my in-laws, husband, mom and dad also like my role. They don't swell when they see me on screen. My mother-in-law firmly believes that 'Kavya' is a free-spirited girl and jumps only after getting what she wants. The actress further says that in my opinion we are all like ‘Kavya’ in our real life. That’s why I find this role so close to reality. My husband also likes this character of mine very much. Of course, we prefer to talk about family at home. And possibly avoid talking about business. Yes, if I need any advice I will definitely talk about it. The rest of my family loves me very much. Once my father-in-law suddenly came on the set of 'Anupama' and surprised me. My co-stars and artisans were also devastated to see them.

Kinshuk Vaidya: I am a crop professional

Recently, Gaurav Amalani was taken overnight to replace Kinshuk Vaidya, who was scheduled to play the role of young Khanderao Holkar in 'Punyashlok Ahilyabai'. "We have taken pride in Kinshuk's unprofessional approach," said Nitin Vaidya, the show's creator at the time. And I couldn't do anything else until they let me out of the show. I was not comfortable in some respects. But the creators did not listen to me. For the good of whatever happens though. I learned a lot from this incident. The creators of this serial have called me unprofessional. But other creators have unquestionably praised my professional approach. I have been active in the field of acting for 3 years. To be honest, I can't afford to have a non-professional approach. Because I don't know anything other than acting.

Mayank Gandhi annoyed at being compared to newcomers

Mayank Gandhi, who last acted in 'Kala Tika' (2013) and winner of 'Splitsvilla Season 2', has not appeared on the screen for the last four years. In fact, Mayank doesn't want to work in a single-story and limited-budget serial. He says that after 'Kala Tika' I was offered a lot of shows. But I was not interested in it as it was the same role I had played before. If there is no place in the story of the serial and if its budget is limited then what is the fun of working in it? He further says that I watch TV. I have played some interesting characters in serials and am also the winner of a reality show. Even so, casting directors compare me to newcomers, and even that doesn't suit me based on the number of followers on social media. How can the number of social media fans be a measure of one's talent? I have been told so far that there is no loss in your acting ability, but since the number of your social media followers is less, we would prefer to take a newcomer with more fanfollowers. It's not like I'm watching TV. Not to work on. But in a show with a good plot, I don't have to do anything just to do it.
