An amazing tree: Eucalyptus

Many of the largest, smallest, etc. are known in the botanical world but eucalyptus or eucalyptus tree is full of wonders. There are 200 species of eucalyptus in the world. Eucalyptus oil is known to cure colds and coughs. All types of eucalyptus leaves contain this oil.

Eucalyptus remains about twelve months green. Eucalyptus from Australia grows up to 3 meters. It is the tallest of the flowering trees. Eucalyptus trees can withstand extreme cold of minus 4 degrees.

Eucalyptus leaves are rounded. The leaves of other trees fall off in autumn. But the branches of the eucalyptus fall off. In the eucalyptus forest, this branch spreads on the ground. Eucalyptus is a major contributor to forest fires. Its oil is flammable. That is why it burns up immediately. However eucalyptus trunks can withstand extreme heat. Eucalyptus grows quickly after wildfires. Frequent fires cause these trees to spread rapidly due to fire. Eucalyptus roots have a special type of tumor. It is not destroyed by fire. The trunk also has knots. When a fire breaks out, the trunk ruptures and the knots fly away, falling to a safe place and growing again. Thus fire becomes a factor in increasing its hierarchy.

In addition to eucalyptus oil is useful for its glue and honey. Honey made from beeswax from its flowers is used in medicine.
