The prediction of how Kaliyuga will come is described in the twelfth skandha of Srimad Bhagavatam

The refuge (adhar) of all beings is God. What will happen to this earth after Lord Krishna reaches his abode? He asks Parikshit King Shukadeva that the invasion of Kaliyuga will increase after Shri Krishna leaves this earth. After the departure of the Lord from the earth, the kings will climb over each other to increase their boundaries. Bharat Khand will be broken into pieces. (eg Kashmir). Brahmin Vedas will become shadowless in Kaliyuga, there will be talk of moneyed people, justice will be weighed by the force of money, mounds of dots and fake saffron clothes will be worshiped as saints by hypocrites. Instead of short dresses and long hair, kesh kala kartan will grow. In Kali Yuga, learning, penance, knowledge, and righteousness will not be rewarded. The rich will be considered noble. People will suffer from famine and burden of taxes. Parents will be neglected. Sons will neglect their parents. Sons will abuse parents (eg old age homes have increased) Cows will be killed in Kali Yuga. Lord Krishna who walked barefoot in Vraja for cows. The gauseva that protected the cows will be forgotten.

Trees, humans and animals will become smaller in size. Varnasrama religion will not exist in Kali Yuga. Brahmins will become sellers of the Vedas. Shukradevji says that Rajan! Due to the deadly influence of Kali Yuga, people will become selfish hypocrites. Iniquity will reach its climax.

Lord has to assume Kalki avatar to establish religion.

Soordaji sings:-

Jab Lag Yamuna Guy Govardhan

Jab Lag Gokul Gaon Gonsai,

Jab Lag Shri Bhagwat Katha Rasa

Then there is no Kali Yuga

As long as the story of Yamunaji cows, Govardhana, Gurudev, and Shrimad Bhagwat is sung by a pure holy saint (eg Dongre Maharaj) Kali Yuga will not disturb. Kali Yuga will not come to him when Krishna will do Kirtan. God says I appear from age to age to protect the righteous path, to destroy the wicked who commit sins and to establish the religion well. Shukradeva tells Parikshit Raja that there are four parts of Rajan Dharma. Truth, mercy, charity and austerity are the four pillars of religion in Satyuga.

Recitation of Hari Namasmaran is the only remedy in Kali Yuga. Only the name of the Lord will do the welfare of the life. Remembrance of Lord's name will open the door of salvation.
