Google has broken the 10-year-old tradition of naming Android versions in the name of sweets. Now the next version of Android will be named Android 10. About the decision to change the name, Google has said that there is a dilemma with the name of the sweet. It has been decided to name the Android version on the number.

Google has also shared a video about Android 10. The name has also been updated. Each and every Android version that came up was named after a dessert. However, a beta version of Android 10 is expected soon. The company has also made changes to the Android logo. The Android icon, formerly written to the right, is now down.

It is important to note that the first version of Android was 1.5 which was named cupcake. The name was given by a manager of the company. As many versions were launched later, they were named after the character. For example, after the cupcakes, donuts, eclairs, etc. were launched. The new version has been renamed to 10 instead of Android Q. Android 10 will get the first update of the phone like Google Pixel 3, Pixel 2, Pixel and Pixel 3A.
