Twitter will remove spam messages from your direct message inbox

Ahmedabad. August 20, 2019, Tuesday

Micro blogging platform Twitter is working on a new feature where spam and abusive messages will be automatically filtered from users' direct message inboxes.

Twitter's official account, Twitter Support, posted a tweet on Friday saying, "Nobody likes spam messages." In this direct message request for you, Twitter is working on a filter that will keep such messages away from you. ' Currently Twitter has allowed its DM inbox open to all to get any message to its users.

In this new experiment of Twitter, a filter is undergoing testing to detect abusive messages, including offensive content or spam, using tabs. This week, Twitter said that they were making several improvements, including a search tool for direct messaging, in addition to following any topic from their platform. This feature will provide users with a special message on Twitter with a profile name. Twitter last month revamped the design of its desktop interface.
