In Hinduism, Janmashtami festival is celebrated with fanfare and enthusiasm. On this day, the occasion of Lord Krishna's birth is celebrated across the country. Lord Krishna was born at midnight of Ashtavani on the day of Shravan Mass. This day is then celebrated as Janmashtami. The Janmashtami festival is especially celebrated in the country's main temples.
