Reliance Jio is once again ahead of average 4G download speed figures in a report released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India for the month of July. According to the report, the average download speed of Jio was 21 Mbps in July as against 17.6 in June.
1. From the beginning of 2019, continuous Jio 4G download speed matters first. In 2018, Reliance was also the fastest 4G operator in terms of speed. Jio's 4G download speed was highest in all 12 months of 2018.
2. According to data released by TRI, Airtel's performance in July dropped 9.2 Mbps in June. While Vodafone and Idea have merged their business but their speed figures are different. Vodafone network has dropped 4G download speed. It was 7.7 Mbps in July compared to 7.9 Mbps in June.
3. Idea made a slight improvement in July, with 4G download speed of 6.6 Mbps. Vodafone was the highest with 5.8 Mbps in July.
4. Idea and Airtel's average upload speed was 5.3 Mbps and 3.2 Mbps respectively in July. While Jio improved with an average upload speed of 4.3 Mbps. The average speed calculated by TRI is calculated on the basis of real time data collected with the help of MySpeed app.
