Social media company Facebook has taken a hard line in two years, removing 2.60 crore terrorist posts from its platform. It had the highest Islamic State and al-Qaeda posts.
Facebook has extensively searched for groups of these organizations on its platform. The company has so far removed more than 200 pages of violence. Facebook in its statement said that we have deleted the terrorist post with the help of Artificial Intelligence and experts. The company had previously deleted several posts following an attack in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Facebook says these terrorist organizations helped spread fanaticism through our platform. In addition, Facebook introduced new rules to stop violent posts in November.
What is a Facebook Plan
The world's leading tech company is preparing a 9-point industry plan with Google, Amazon, Microsoft and Twitter. Under this plan, information related to Facebook terrorism content will be shared on this platform.
