Why is Ganeshji also worshiped with Lakshmi in Diwali?

Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, is worshiped on Diwali. But along with Mother Lakshmi, Ganeshji is worshiped. Ganesh is considered an obstacle. That is why Ganeshji is worshiped before doing any good work.

It is suspected to be a hindrance before starting any work. After worshiping Ganesha, there is confidence in the mind that now all the work will be completed smoothly. That is why Ganesh worship is done before Lakshmi Pujan.

Sriganesh is also called the lord of knowledge and intellect. One of the biggest reasons for Ganesh Pujan with Lakshmi is that intelligence is always with the rich.

Wealth is worthwhile when it is used wisely. It is often found that when human beings have wealth, their conscience is lost. Bad behavior is born into it. Ganeshji gives us wisdom and with the help of that wisdom we should make money and use that money in the right direction, which is why Ganesh Pujan is very important.

This is the belief behind the worship of Ma Saraswati that Vidya is the real wealth of human beings. Goddess Saraswati is done on the Diwali of the work that gives us the light of knowledge and the blessing of higher education.
